My View On The Kobe Situation

Hmmm...... Well, I think its just too soon to really know as everything we've heard so far are pretty much hearsay.


I do know one thing. I don't care if Kobe is innocent or guilty, I consider him a piece of crap now and will continue to do so. The guy is married and just had a kid!

I guess I shouldn't be surprised but I don't think that this was likely to be his first case of adultury. If you play with fire you will get burned and he is getting his. I'll be fine if he never touches a NBA court again. JMO.

Her only "move" was to go tell the cops. And if the cops would have found anything suspicious about the wait they already would have thrown out the case or found out she was lying.

One final comment about this.

I find the people who are sending DEATH THREATS to the girl and to her family to BE SICK MESSED up people.

I don't know if he raped her or not BUT DEATH THREATS TO ANYBODY is not something to joke about to take lightly and I hope they lock those people up in jail as well because they deserve it.

I totally agree with Bryan on this! While I LOVE watching Kobe play, and love the fact that he is willing to work his butt off during the summer to improve his game....

what he did with this 19-y/o girl is just plain STUPID; furthermore, he probably has done this in the past several years, and this is the first time he was caught.

Much like Pete Rose. Only a moron would think Rose never bet while he was playing baseball. As a gambling addict, you don't go from NOT betting while being a player to betting while being a manager.

And whatever happens to Kobe -- I am fine with. This dude was barely married for 2 years, has a daughter, has loads of money, and does this?

Well I'm not going to play expert on this because I don't know that much about it.

But my guess is that she kinda was hesitant about making the claim because of the backlash that she would receive.

Its kinda like all the kids that were sexually abused by those priests. Who was going to believe them? When it was first leaked about Kobe everyone was in shock and nobody could believe it.

Don't get me wrong Peter... that definitely is one way to look at the situation... but that's the way everyone looks at a rape case. I'm trying to give people a different perspective on what could have happened and why it happened that way. I wanted to give reasonings behind my senerio's so people reading it didn't think it was just something I pulled out my butt and I actually had reasoning behind what I said.

Yeah I don't have a problem with that. I don't really know that much about rape cases or even the law for that matter so I wouldn't be the best guy to be giving advice.

But this case looks to be VERY TRICKY and it might be something that takes awhile too.

Today I heard somebody report that the girl had visable marks on her and that their was damage to the room.

Whatever the case I hope the "best" can come out of it for both parties.

Kobe is a big man; the girl, being a cheerleader, was probably small (how many cheerleaders do you know of who are big) size.

So, damage is to be expected.

Plus, that's what you get with rough sex, anyways.

It is way too early to make any judgements on this case... we need to hear the facts. Kobe is innocent until proven guilty and this girl should not be harassed.

Here is my take, first while I agree with both sides, I was just talking to a couple of chic's tonight about kobe...

Now this is probably not the first time kobe has committed rape, how old was his wife when they got engaged, she was 17 as it was 2 years ago and she is 19 now...when means Kobe was around 22 right... if he had sex with this chic before and after being engaged but before marriage he could have been charged with statutory rape... as she was a minor...the only thing that could have prevented that being the case as if she had a child which makes her an emanicapated minor and free to make her own decisions...

Second if I am not wrong, the girl that is accusing kobe did take to many pills, but I hear that she had a lot of problems in her life like a best friend died and some other crap...I forget the exact details, the media is trying to make kobe look like the victim here and he is not, because he can go on being kobe bryant and she will always be known as the girl that accused kobe of rape...

Look at the Mike Tyson deal, while the chic went up to his room to Quote Un Quote hang out at 2 am, there isn't a chic in the world that if I called at 2 am and say I am coming over wouldn't know what my intentions are...

My second scenario is this...the girl being a young one, was going to have sex with kobe but he totally either was too freaky for her, maybe he is into S&M like beating, scratching, and all that stuff and being young didn't understand it...

The People I know that cheat on their wives say this when I ask why when you can go home and get it, the answers are as followed, when I sex with my wife, I make love and it is nice and easy, when I have sex with the others I am f****king and wild and rough and do things to them I can't do with my wife...so maybe if this is kobe case, the girl jsut got caught up with a freak...

Now Kobe could have raped her or not, we will really never know, unless he admits it, even if the jury says he did, will that really be the truth, if they say he didn't, will that be the truth, the only people that know for sure is the girl and kobe... I feel he is very stupid in his dealing with this chic, has he looked at his wife lately, to me she is a nice looking chic, and check this out, rape is such a broad term, there are people in jail for raping their wives...


If this was Mike Tyson, the media would be all over how mike must have raped her, but since it is the media darling(kobe) they are looking at all the angles to set him free...

you are right about that, the numbers may even be higher though, it is very embarassing to report something like that, that is the same reason males that beat up their girlfriends/wives, don't report their husbands after gettign their butts kicked..
