I have a PlayStation 2, so I don't think I'll be much help with what's better...they never change anything on my system.

Wow, thanks for the in-depth info! What difficulty level do you play? I usually do all-madden and play pass-heavy. I had a tough time completing deep passes on 2010. I relied on WR slants and quick dump passes to the RB for good, sometimes great gains. Of course, it's completely different when playing a person as opposed to the CPU.

But if I'm playing on all madden and throwing a lot of hail mary completions, that sounds just a little broken. lol.

Nice to hear the running game is a bit easier, I've always, always had a hard time with this.

    No problem ...

I usually start out on All-Pro, see how everything works and then I'll bump up to All-Madden after a few games. On Madden 11 ... I started on All-Pro and played one game Broncos vs. Chargers and spanked the CPU 59-10, so I bumped it up to All-Madden right away. I noticed a difference but not much to tell ya the truth ... my scores went down to realistic type games but it was still failry easy to move the ball up and down the field.

Again, I'm not going to bash the game because it is good

it's just not great! and after how many years of Madden now? you think they'd get it perfect one year at least!

Really? It's the same thing as the past 3 years. They haven't touched Franchise or Be a Superstar modes and the only new thing is Ultimate Team which is pretty cool but it takes a lot of time. It's not worth the money at all. I miss 2k Sports.

Ultimate Team was in Madden 10.

Might buy it (already tried the game at a friend's house), but i'm more of a Franchise player. The Madden developers basically said they wanted to focus on gameplay this year, and that they would focus on Franchise and other modes on Madden 12. That leaves me a bit disappointed. Gameplay is nice though. Improvements are small and intricate, the ones unnoticable by the casual fans and haters. Blocking and Locomotion is improved as previously stated. Turbo is a bit strange to adjust to, but a cool touch. Gameflow is awesome.

NCAA is definitely better. You can still get huge gains by throwing to the flat, that's all I do when passing. Running is soooo easy now. So in one game I'll rack up 350 rushing yards and 200 receiving yards with my RB. And that's on All-Pro.

Really? They had the football cards in Madden 10? I don't remember that, lol.

Thanks for the feedback all, they both sound good. Guess I'll just have to try them out...

I'm glad they went back to the X tap kick system, that Right stick kick system was whack!

Didn't care for the demo on ps3. They changed just enough to tick me off as far as the controls go. And the new announcer is ridiculously annoying for his over the top sega 90's cheesy announcing-style.

I'm all for rookies and roster updates, but this one I may pass on and just stick with Madden 10. I've been getting each Madden annually but this one just really annoyed me.

I agree with this statement in particular...what was wrong with John Madden actually announcing in his video game? Last year wasn't too bad, but this year, the commentary is terrible.
