Its more like Madden 05, where you have to use more user skill than rely on the CPU for assistance. The graphics are good, the runng game is good aswell. The AI isnt very good, but thats where user skills come in. Overall, i like the game, i hope they fix the online part.

I haven't played Madden 11 yet. If it's anything similar to Madden 05, then I will definitely enjoy it. Madden 05 was one of my favorites. I think that's when the "hit-stick" was introduced.

i have it now and turned gameflow off right away so i can't comment on that. Gameplay is better than years past. Unfortunately NOTHING else has changed which very much irritates me.

Setting up your blocks is very important in madden 11, you cant just run around people. You gotta use your blocks.

If you have a good RB, you can drag people and break an unrealistic amount of tackles with them.

Acceleration is just as important as speed. If your player cant hit his top speed quick enough, his top speed wont be very beneficial. Agility is also important.

Defense is hard. I used to average about 2 int's a game with the past years Maddens and NCAAs, now its a bit more difficult. Stopping the run is very difficult, depending on the team.

QB's have a very quick release. I've only gotten a few sacks so far, but knocked the QB down plenty of times, they just had a quick release and got the ball away.

Thats all I have for now.

Id say gameplay is just about the same. The running game is pretty easy as well. Had a problem the first week online, I was completly owning this guy with the vikes playing dallas. i was up 24 and it was a minute from half and thats when i was going to offer the mercy, and he must've disconnected the modem and it lost connection and didnt record the game. I had another person do the same thing I was beating so i didnt play for a few days, and I had it happen once more but then it asked me if i wanted to record the game and i did so i guess they had a lot of people doing that but im glad its fixed now. I would be 8-5 but 6-5 is decent i guess.

This was the first Madden i've purchased in the past couple year and I love it. I love the gameflow option ( I think that's what it's called). It really speeds up the game and on big plays you pick exactly what play you want. In my opinion it's def. worth the purchase.

returning kicks seems to be hard too, because of the acceleration thing. And because they dont block well.

unless someone has a tip that i dont know

Thank You! I though I just sucked, haha. I haven't had a kick or punt return longer than 25 yards. It's impossible. I would also love a tip on this.

Percy Harvin ran one back against me when my friend played against me (not online). Other than that, i havent had anyone get past the 23 yard line, nor have i gotten past the 23 yard line.

I'm having the same problem. I broke off a couple of 36 yd. returns, but that's the best I've done.

Finally figured out that, to stop the run, just control the middle linebacker and scrape to the hole. Its much easier than it seems once you figure it out.
