I hear ya mouschi. I love running too. Used to be a hater as well but now I do it regularly and have even started doing some local races. My favorite has been the Warrior Dash which included mud, obstacles, a pong, etc. It's nice having an event to work toward. After a while you start thinking about that and performance and stop thinking about weight loss.

I did start to kind of jog. I can go about an 1/8 of a mile before I have to go back to walking. I'm down to 220 so I hope that by 210 or 200 I can run a mile or more.

You will. Just keep at it and build up slow. Remember that muscles get in shape faster than tendons and ligaments so make sure and do several workouts at the same amount of running before increasing.

Sign up for a race that takes place in a few months around you; a great initiative to train hard and want to improve.

South Texas. I can see races in San Antonio or Austin but that's a 5 to 6 hours drive.
