Depending on how high-end the card is for me, but what company's like Ultra-Pro should do is create Magnetic Holders that fit Top-loaders inside for Superlative, If they dont sell discontinue the product, just my 2 cents

Very expensive for Ultra-Pro to make that investment. There are relatively few Superlative cards in the market, and the production process for Ultra-Pro can only be efficient with HUGE production runs. This is the exact same reason that Ultra-Pro does not make super thick One-Touches for The Cup Dual Shields. Too few cards, too little demand for a production run.

This topic has been beaten to death.

No doubt. I made my feelings known right off the bat in May when, to the horror of many , I did this with a 1/1.

    Go me.

I think that it lowers the value of the card but I would take it out and put it in a one touch. If you have the card then you can do what you want with your card.

I recently sold a Lidstrom Auto that was out of the original ITG sealed top loader. It went for $25 or so. I sold the same card, with the seal and in the original toploader a few months back for $12 and change.

I don't think it matters if it is in the sealed holder or not. The card is what people want, not the top loader and sticker.

Dr. Price personally said that 'go on and broke them', and still we are talking about this 'problem'! So how about if we all just broke them.. then we don't need a talk again and again..

I have here http://s147.photobucket.com/albums/r291/iidaemmi/Gilmour%20Superlative/ almost 50 high ends superlative cards. All broken. Also have four 1/1 Superlative Gilmour cards and broken.

If PC, yes. If not PC, no. Simply because it leaves the decision up to the next owner.

I brake out my Superlative cards so I can scan them and put them in new top loaders or one-touch holders and put them in my PC box.

The question has been asked many times over the past 5 years. Answer is still the same. They are your cards, do what you want. The stickers and top loaders were never meant to be a permanent home for the cards, just a way to protect them until they get pulled.

That's what I did. All my pc superlatives are in one touches and the ones I got from breaks that are traders are in the original top loader.

Just busted out a Superlative Wendel Auto yesterday. :)
