Attended an independent wrestling show, CLASH wrestling, out at the Taylor Town Trade Center in Taylor, MI tonight. The main draw of the card was former WCW/TNA/WWE wrestler Jimmy Wang Yang. Purchased one of his 8 1/2 x 11 photo he was selling as well as got my trading card and 8 x 10 photo that I brought with me signed.

Attended the Coheed & Cambria concert tonight held at the Royal Oak Music Theatre in Royal Oak, MI. After the show, went back to my car and grabbed my 11 x 14 photo in an attempt to get them to sign as I waited out by their bus with the crowd there. Bassist Mic Todd came out first, signed and took pictures with whoever needed him as he just hung around without the need of being in a rush to get on the bus. Drummer Chris Pennie came out next, signed and took pictures with whoever needed him. Lead guitarist Travis Stever came out while Chris was still signing and just boarded the bus. Lead singer Claudio Sanchez was the last member of the band to come out, as he boarded the bus to drop off his stuff, came back out to sign and took pictures with whoever needed him. He then went back on the bus and got Travis to come out to sign and take pictures with the remaining folks that needed him.

All in all, an awesome overall experience at the concert with the band killing it onstage with their sets during the concert and being even cooler than I imagined afterward.

Attended an independent wrestling show, Juggalo Championship Wrestling, tonight at St. Andrews Hall in downtown Detroit. Got the following featured wrestlers on the card to sign for me before the show:

Thanks, I've had this photo since Sabu wrestled in the WWE's version of ECW. But nope, Sabu didn't talk to me nor the other guy that got his autograph as he was in a rush to go back upstairs with some chosen fans (perhaps to toke one up or something). I met him after an independent show a few years back and he was cool as can be, signing and chatted with the 4 of us that waited outside for him to come out (this was when he just got done with TNA and was going to wrestle for "WWECW"). I heard he may be a jerk elsewhere, but he's always been cool to the fans in Michigan as he still resides in the state and do appearances for the independent promotions here.

Attended the Ring Of Honor wrestling show held at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center in Dearborn, MI tonight. Got the following personnels who appeared there, to sign for me:

TNA wrestler Christopher Daniels - 2/2 trading cards (1 card signed as "Christopher Daniels" and the other signed as "Curry Man")

former WWE wrestler Shelton Benjamin - 1/0 8 x 10 photo (purchased a ticket to get a signed photo by Shelton at his and Charlie Haas's preshow meet and greet)

former WWE wrestler Charlie Haas - 1/0 8 x 10 photo (purchased a ticket to get a signed photo by Charlie at his and Shelton's preshow meet and greet)

legendary wrestling manager and current ROH Executive Producer Jim Cornette - 1/1 event ticket stub

My girlfriend and I attended Brooke Fraser with special guest Cary Brothers' concert at St. Andrew's Hall in downtown Detroit. Cary Brothers came out after the show to sign and take photos with fans at the merchandise table, but I didn't have anything for him. So, me and my girlfriend just went to the back parking lot and waited outside by my car, where Brooke's valet immediately pulled up her rental. Though she was in a rush, she signed me and my girlfriend's 5 x 7 photos, before getting into the rental to back it up to the streets so she would be on her way, with us being the only ones she signed for after the show.

Cornette was as nice and cool as he could be. Taking photos, signing autographs, shaking hands, and having small talks with whomever waited in line to meet him at his merchandise table right next to Haas and Benjamin's. Wish I would of known that he was going to appear at the show, so that I would of brought a trading card I had of him and get that signed. Oh well, there's always next time.
