    Why Do People Expect same Price as eBay?

    I have a simple question and i'm not trying to be a wise guy but here is my opinion and why I joined here.

    eBay charges 9%, paypal charges 3% (plus min. .30) so that is at least 12% minus (initial listing fee).

    So why are people asking eBay value, I feel that a fair rate would be about 6% below average eBay cost.

    I plan on listing a lot of stuff for sale at 6% below eBay value. i want some feedback from experienced traders here.

    Honestly I feel that same, but I also think that alot of people on here would be way easier to negotiate with?
