Die-hard NJ Devils fan because my first-ever televised hockey game was a replay back in 1979 of the Colorado Rockies. I loved what I referred to as the "Christmas Tree" uniforms and stuck with the franchise ever since.

Have always, and will always be an Oilers fan. As such, when the playoffs role around I'll also cheer for whoever is playing the Canucks, or the Flames.
I'll also always have a soft spot for any team Ryan Smyth or Doug Weight are playing for (they're really the only guys left from my list of 'all time favs').

Rangers fan for life, even though I've moved to Mississippi and can't follow them as much.I've been a fan since the early 70's and witnessed alot of bad hockey, also got to see them in 3 cups, loss to the bruins, woulda been different if jean ratelle wouldn't have missed the series, loss to the canadiens, knew they wouldn't beat the habs but it was an unexpected ride, and finally the end of the 1940 chant the win against the canucks.

Hawks all the way. I have been a fan of them since the early 80's.
As for the east, I would have to say the Thrashers. With their AHL team the Wolves playing in the Chicago suburbs I have seen plenty of players go thru here and play in the NHL.
There is only one team I can not stand..............the Canucks. Here is to another year of them not winning the the Cup.

There seems to be a decent rivalry now between the Hawks and Canucks. Has something to do with the Brooming handed out last year in the playoffs.
Nothing like a sweep to get a rivalry heated.
I put a brick thru my Dad's TV in 1966 when the Red Wings won the 1st 2 games of the SC Final against the Habs, but then the Habs came roaring back to win the Cup with 4 games in a row, so that is the reason for the unfinished business with the Habs.
Love to meet them in the Finals this year and destroy them 4 straight.

Why'd you put a brick through your dad's TV when the Wings were winning? I thought you were a Wings fan? lol
