Ah I see now. Those were 2 great dynasty teams back then. Maybe with the skilled young players both teams have now, we will see them in a few years. The biggest problem with the Islanders in my mind is Charles Wang...he kind of likes to be the GM of the team and Snow just does what Wang tells him.

Don't have to ask who my favorite team is :). I have been a Leaf fan my entire life and haven't jumped off the ship during all these bad times (has there been any good recently?) like some people have.
The Leafs have been plagued for so long to have had to deal with mismanagement (like another member said) and I sure hope Brian Burke knows what he is doing (I am still not sure if he does). I read a book called "Why the Leafs suck and how to fix them" written by Al Strachan and it really sheds a lot of light on the management situation since the Ballard era. It is disgusting to say the least. Al Strachan didn't seem to think Brian Burke was any different than the previous GMs, but time will tell.
In the western conference I really like Vancouver because of Roberto Luongo, I don't really care for the Sedin twins, but I respect them as players.
Teams I really like to see lose include: Montreal (obviously), Washington (not a fan of Ovi), Ottawa, & maybe Philly because I have seen TO lose to them SO many times in the playoffs.
All the other teams I am pretty much indifferent.
