Your Teams Prospects
With regards to your team(s), who can you see and who would you like to see brought up to the NHL next season?
Flyers - Erik Gustafsson, Ben Holmstrom.
The closest prospect to make the Flyers roster fully and with a couple of NHL games already under his belt (looking to feature more with Pronger out at the moment), Gustafsson will get a very long hard look at the next Rookie Camp. I expect him to feature more in the 2011/12 season. A somewhat undersized defenseman at 5' 11, his scouting report is similar to Kimmo Timonen. Erik is a strong two-way player who played three seasons in the NCAA with Northern Michigan University amassing 93 points in 123 games. Has had a decent season with the slumping AHL outfit Adirondack Phantoms (GP 65 G 5 A 33 Pts 38).
Let's hear yours.

For the Bruins, i think the only one who will crack the lineup next year is Jordan Caron, taking Ryder's spot (thank frickin' god!). Everyone else (Spooner, Sauve, Knight, Alexandrov) seems to be a few years away. The only other would be if we happen to get a pick in the first round that makes it, which is highly unlikely now that Toronto has gotten so hot, were looking at the 10th pick now.

For the Canucks, I'm really hoping they can bring up Jordan Schroeder from the manitoba Moose maybe taking over Victor Oreskovich's job on right wing.

If i was to name one Bruin prosect, I agree. It is Jordan Caron. He has the size and speed to play at the NHL level. He talent stands out when watching him at Providence.
Suave has the scorer's touch but I agree. He could benefit more from the baby B's. You didn't mention Zach Hamill. I think he is ready to play for Boston, but management thinks otherwise. He hasn't scored much, but has put up big points. I hope you are wrong, I am in the minority as Ryder is concerned, I like him a lot, but he is definitly playing his last games in black and yellow.

Youre right, I left out Hamill, but barring injury, he's not going to move any of our 4 centers from their position. Unless they move Peverley or Kelly to the wing and drop Hamill in on the 3rd line. Then again, if Savard comes back (VERY Doubtful), or Seguin proves before the season starts he can be a dependable center, that might not even be an option for Hamill. I believe Hamill's time is up, he is a RFA and will most likely not be kept. I think the future upside for Spooner and the Depth of the current B's team makes him expendable. By the time the B's need another center on the top 3 lines, Spooner will have a good couple years of AHL time.
BTW about Ryder, with Marchand and Kaberle due for extensions there is no way he comes back. He has not even earned half of his salary in my eyes, but as usual he will do good in the playoffs enough for someone to take a chance on him next year. It just wont be the Bruins.Last edited by JoexBondo; 04-01-2011 at 03:23 PM.

Nino Niederreiter
Calvin de Haan
Don't ever let Gervais see another minute of ice time , and put Nino on a line with Tavares, push Parenteau back with Comeau and Bailey for 3rd line.

Greg Nemisz and Lance Bouwma, two exciting young players. I can't wait for them to get a permanent call up.

There's a good number of mid-range prospects in the Habs pipeline. I'm not sure as to whether Engqvist, Bournival, etc. will ever develop into top-shelf players, but guys like Louis Leblanc and (if he ever comes over) Alexander Avtsin may be on the horizon. Jarred Tinordi as well.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...
