I was thinking of Louis Leblanc. He's having a good season in the Q.

Tarasenko was another name I was thinking of earlier. I hope he does. Was very impressed with him at the World Juniors.
Contract problems at the moment?

Have big hopes that the Oilers will be brining Anton Lander onto the big club next year. Combine him with whoever our top pick is in the draft.... and two more rookies is probably all I'll expect. (The big three this year, plus Linus Omark should all be regulars next season too).
Curtis Hamilton is probably 2 years (at least) away still..... guys like Chorney & Petry have been in the NHL this year, but far from gaurenteed jobs on next year's blueline. Hopefully they're able to make the club too (but with strong play, not by default).

The Oilers and the Islanders may again be playing each other for a Stanley Cup in 3-4 years.
Tremendous up-side in both rosters provided that management does not mess it up.
That will make the Bandwagoners (without naming names) from 1 place pay attention. The other wagon crew may jump after next week. Lol (again, not naming names)

for the Oil kings- I am excited to see Curtis Lazar play, I watched him In Bantam AAA when he came to Edmonton to play against my Little brother.

If Chorney plays like he did after the second call-up and before the injury, then he will be a welcome addition to the defence. Both he and Petry have some work to do, so hopefully they're brought along slowly.
Olivier Roy...don't even get me started. I had high hopes from him after he was drafted, but he hasn't improved at all. He choked in the World Juniors, and he choked in the playoffs in the Q(go check he stats, they're pretty appalling).
Teemu Hartikainen and Anton Lander are most likely to crack the line up next year, and that includes our draft pick this year, unless it's Larsson.

Kadri really showed some improvement, Reimer was their saving grace in the second half. They are pretty much eliminated but GO LEAFS GO for 2011-12!!

For the Maple Leafs, I hope that Nazem Kadri and James Reimer stay for seasons to come. They're awesome players.

Chris Tanev has pretty much proven he's ready for the big squad, I think Sauve is another one they could bring up next season. As much as I like Ballard his contract is not worth what he's doing on the ice. It would be great to see Schroeder and Hodgson crack the lineup, but I think both of them only have a shot as wingers, depending on what happens long term with Malholtra, neither of them fit the fourth line center profile, both of them are more conducive to third line or higher. Bolduc could very wellend up the full time fourth line center.
The other interesting bit is, as good as Schneider is, he won't be the guy to take over for Luongo. Berto's contract is too long for that and Schneider is pretty much ready for a #1 spot now. With Lack sitting in Manitoba, I think he's going to be the guy to take over should Luongo leave at the end of his contract and I'm okay with that. Lack was very impressive when I saw him in training camp in Penticton.
