I'll have a fair amount to say about my feelings and my guy's play come this weekend. In short, very good, validation even. :)
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

To me, it doesn't matter a whole lot.
When it comes to my current player collection, I collect Mikkel Boedker. He has been in the AHL for the largest part of this season and now is in the NHL. Not a lot of TOI = not so many goals and assists for him.
I chose collecting his cards because of multiple reasons. Production not one of them.

My PC guy does not have many points, but I think his style of play is more important than points. He is still a valuable player to his team regardless of production.

I've been very happy with Enroth's play over this past week, since he's carried the Sabres to some important wins in Miller's absence. Unfortunately, the flip side to that success is that his card values are quickly becoming inflated, making it harder to land the ones I still need. I've also been trying to add a few more of his Cup rookies and they continue to get more expensive.
Pavelec has not been performing well lately, but I'm not too disappointed. He's played a lot of games and is likely worn down a little, and his numbers overall are still very good. I also feel that he'll only get better as Atlanta improves a horrid defense corps.

For me it's not such a huge deal. Whether Varlamov is playing or not, Ill still be collecting his cards.

Well I started somewhat 1994 with Dougie, it's been awhile, so I can't remember why I started first place

He retired 2002-03, so he does not hit so many points these days, but I still hanging on..

I collect Dan Carcillo,I know what you are all thinking ewwww.
Truthfully I love the enforcers and power forwards, much more than the stars.
My PC is a good testament to that.
For me it has been a blast just building a solid collection of a player.
This is what got my attention.
Rookie year 57 games 324 PIM,and 24 points and a +1
Not bad If he wasn't in the box he was putting up points.
He has been up and down since.
It is cool getting up and putting on Sports Net and hearing your PC guy has made the highlight reel.
Even if it is a fighting major, game misconduct and a 3 game suspension.
However I have stayed true to this collection.
I am hoping to obtain a Super Collector badge soon.
Another reason to stay true to your player.
For me it would be an awsome honour to be considered as having one of the best collections on the planet.

Same with my Osgood collection. When he had his Stanley Cup runs in 1998, 2008 and 2009, more cards were produced (and higher end sets) and more people bought them, so it ended up costing me more, but in the end I'll still buy 'em, so what do I know?? lol
