Why can't I think that? LeBron is more talented how many times do I have to say it? But AGAIN not the better player, If I needed one win with the game on the line, I don't want LeBron, not at all..I want Wade or Kobe..never LeBron..regular season doesn't mean much when you choke in the postseason, then to avoid doing it again, go to Miami to play robin.

Why do I have to explain myself over and over here? Take LeBron..we've seen what he can do, he quits on his team when the going gets tough, or just plays miserable..

I would take Robert Horry in a big game shot but that doesnt mean he is close to the level of LeBron or D Wade or anyone in that catergory.... im not hating on Wade but he is not in the same conversation as LeBron... LBJ is already in the conversation of the greats of all time... Wade is not... Wade has more heart if that is what you mean but so does Mark Madsen or however you spell his name.

I think to say that Wade is not in the same conversation as Lebron or that People aren't thinking that Wade could be considered one of the greats is exaggerating how great Lebron is.

You really think so? People compare LeBron to Jordan, Kobe, all the other greats... I dont think he is actually close to Jordan either but you never hear the same comparisons made with Wade. Im not saying Wade is a bum but if we are really being honest here there is no way you can actually believe Wade is a better player than LeBron

I really do think people compare Wade to Jordan, Kobe, Magic and all those greats too. Quite a few articles in the past on ESPN, Dime, etc. that have compared Wade to one of the greats in the past.

Lebron is better than Wade according to all those Eastern conference player of the months he has won over Wade. Of course a lot of those awards are based on stats and don't take into account many other things. But again I feel that saying that Wade's not even in the same conversation is an exaggeration.

Purely on stats, Lebron beats Wade most of the time, that's why #1 fantasy draft picks go to Lebron over Wade 9/10 times.

But let's say I am forced to choose a winner of a pick up game of 5 on 5 Lebron vs. Wade (or even as best of 7 pickup games series), all other players being equal, and if I choose the wrong winner than I get killed (Wade or Lebron don't know that anyone would be killed, so they are neither of them would be more motivated than usual). I am not sure that I would pick Lebron every time. And I'm sure a lot of people would be split if they were given the same choice. That's why at this point in their careers, I think it's an exaggeration to say hands down Lebron is a better basketball player than Wade, no discussion. Unless all that is taken into account of being the better player is stats.

I get what you are saying... but if i am building a franchise right now LeBron is my number one pick 10 times out of 10.... Maybe not in the same conversation is a little over the top but I believe when careers are finished 20 years from now LeBron will be one of those guys we look back on and said I get to see him play.... He is bigger, faster, stronger than really anyone who has played the game before (except maybe D. Howard) and impossible to guard on the floor... Sure he takes himself out of it at times but when he turns it on there is no one in the league that can do what he does.

The Cavs only gave him nearly every player that HE asked for/wanted...

We could have had Ray Allen for example, but no. Lebron thought Larry Hughes would be a better fit. Great idea General Manager James.

Lebron has nothing at all to apologize for. He was under contract with cleveland until last summer. He fulfilled all the terms and conditions of his contract. Once his contract was over he was under no legal obligation to say in cleveland. He was free and clear to go and he should not me made to feel ashamed for taking his talents to south beach or anywhere else that he may have chosen to do so.

I agree 100% people need to put themselves in the man shoes, would you want to get paid or win a Championship? After all is that not why the game is played.
