Sorry to hear about this seller, neutral is reasonable I wouldn't have agreed with a negative. As for buying/selling on ebay make two accounts. I never buy on my selling account, I did at first but I had a bad purchase and I couldn't be totally honest about it in fear of retaliation. You can always ban one account but that doesn't stop someone from hitting you with a different account/friends/families... He was a bit too obvious about the feedback revision. I don't think you will have any issues having the sale canceled. Hope it works out for you!

Dealt with this same guy doing business as "salect2410" last November. I bought a card at like 4 or 5 in the morning and went to bed. The following is his and my communication skills on display (I'm including his ebay name since that account has been closed anyway):

I can afford much more than a buck. I'm just saying that you state 24 hours to pay and then start emailing me less than 12 hours after the auction ends complaining I haven't paid! I work Full time. I pay all my won auctions when I get home from work...sometimes after dinner, sometimes before bed, but they get paid that night - as will you tonight, after I get home from work. What are you looking for on the Backes /5? If it's reasonable I'm interested.

He closed his account and (or maybe ebay did not sure) and started this one. It was easily recognized by the same Backes /5 being listed that I inquired about. I paid for the card I won and never received it. I filed a dispute with ebay and got my money back in a couple days. I even saw the Backes auto listed by this guy a few days later!

He will probably start a new account AGAIN. The tell tale signs will be his extremely long, poorly formed, poorly written descriptions - with the crazy demands on the bidders. Also Item Location will be formatted like this:

winn, MB, Canada

At least it was as salect2410 and then as hasbro12lent. Note the lower case winn

Sorry you had to deal with him Max - if you need to with ebay, point out his old account salect2410 - and keep an eye out for his next one. Funny thing is, you commented in my thread about him last December lol! (https://www.sportscardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1266151)

Shame, I really wanted that Backes /5 but wouldn't deal with him again - obviously!

I dealt with him before. He left me a really harsh feedback that ebay removed because I left a neutral and said he was a bad ebayer after I got a rude message. He also sets it so that you can only buy one item from him so he doesnt have to combine shipping. He left me a feedback that said I was a peice of welfare trash. He shouldnt be allowed on ebay. He has recently left feedback for someone complaining about being overcharged for shipping. Ironic. Also from his current feedback
