1/1 s
Small rant.
Tavares cards to date produced.... 982 cards of which 243 are 1/1s , really 25% of his collection 1/1s ?
Is this normal for most or a new trend of the industry ?Last edited by DeanCrandall; 05-22-2011 at 09:39 PM.

I'm pretty sure it's the exception with most. For example my PC guy is Alzner. He has roughly 200 cards and 21 of them are 1/1s so approx. 10%. He's obviously not as highly touted/collected/valued as Tavares but I think you'd be hard pressed to find that many players at such a high percentage of 1/1s as Tavares.

this handing out of 1/1 cards is getting rediculous!

I'm pretty sure a large portion of those are printing plates from the Cup. I don't even bother counting those in my collection stats.

the plates have really over saturated the plates situation, clearly in this case

I see on average 10% of all cards released being 1/1's when I am searching for player lists. Too much in my opinion.

Just did the math on my main PC player, Ben Bishop: 39 of his 85 total cards are 1/1s. That's just over 45%, beyond ridiculous in this case...
