Ugh Upper Deck, Why?

Here we go with another UD complaint, since most people seem to be ragging on Panini lately

Last time I had in issue with an Upper Deck thing, it was for a Duchene Holo FX (09-10)

I sent it back to be replaced, and they sent me the Duchene as the replacement, and a Tavares Holo FX for my troubles.

Fast forward to now, I had a Grabner YG that was damaged, and a Ryan Miller SOTT (10-11) that was damaged that I had to send back

So this time around, they send me

Grabner YG to replace the one I sent back (cool)

But, instead of a Hard-signed Miller SOTT that sells for $10 or higher, I get a nice sticker Autofacts that usually sells for $4.

Thanks a lot UD. I love giving up Hard-Signed stuff for Sticker Autos out of less expensive products.

I called 2 weeks ago and got a call back the next day. I sent a damaged card back and got it replaced and the new card was numbered the same as what I sent back.

thats has got to be frustrating!! I honestly havent ever sent anything back to UD, i must be lucky (knock on wood) but I hope you have better luck in the future. Your a great member and you will get it back somehow!

I dealt with a redemption from UD a few years back that I am still not happy with!!. I pulled an 06/07 honorable numbers of zetterberg /44 (redemption) I waited 8 month after send the redemp. in and they email me saying they would be happy to give something else if my favour. They asked me what I liked in return. I said crosby, malkin, gretzky, spezza, brodeur. I got a ultimate patch /35 of gaborik. Not that happy after I bought The Cup and then I get Ultimate but im over it now!!

I'm going to call them and complain tomorrow, just to give them a piece of my mind. In my opinion, causing me an inconvenience and then not even replacing my card, giving me a half as valuable sticker auto is unacceptable, really irritates me

I might be upset that they don't have the SOTT available since the product is still fairly new, but if they are out of stock I don't see why you would be upset with receiving another Miller auto in return. Maybe all they have in stock are sticker autos of Miller, and they gave you a player for player auto, could have been worse. If you sent in a Crosby, Ovechkin, Tavares, etc and got a Drew Stafford in return, sure, I could see being upset. But sale value of a card isn't valid complaint here, especially when we are talking about a $6 difference. You got an auto for auto replacement of the same player, I think you are being pretty harsh here.
