not quite stacked. i think they could have become a better team moving other guys or trading for other vets for the 2nd pick. so many guys under 25 on this team...

I hope you aren't serious. But don't worry there's always next year to look forward to. Not the season but the T-Wolves will be in the lottery again.

He has always been a pass first point guard, and the Euro-style of play is more team oriented. For what it's worth, Brandon Jennings didn't even average 10 ppg. Rubio will look for his teammates first, rather than score himself, and isn't that what every team asks of from their PG?

That's fine and dandy that he's a pass first point guard...but he averaged 3.5 assists per game last season. Yikes.

I'm still trying to figure out where the T-Wolves "incredible bench" is, or what superstar they could've "saved up for."

Now here's a general breakdown of them

PG: Flynn, Rubio, and that incredible PG from Cleveland State
    SG: Nobody great
    SF: Williams and Beasley!?
    PF: Love and Randolph!?
C: Montiejunas, Milicic, and that second year guy from Europe!?

Their hogging all the young talent! They could make two great teams with this lineup... What do you guys think???

    Think - then post.

As stated Flynn is gone. Cole is gone. Beasley will probably be gone.

And you completely ignore Wesley Johnson.

Did you just randomly type a post just for fun? Because you obviously didn't put any thought into it.

Montiejunas is not a center and he's also been traded to Houston if I'm not mistaken.

So their starting 5 would most likely look something like this
    Rubio
    Wesley Johnson
    Michael Beasley
    Kevin Love
    Darko

with Derrick Williams, Anthony Randolph, Luke Ridnour coming off the bench.

And while they have a young team with promising prospects, none of them would be #1 options on good teams. And I'm really worried why Anthony Randolph can't even get off the bench sometimes. Is his basketball IQ really that low that his coaches don't even want to put him in games?

I have been a season ticket holder for 6 years (insert shots her people)......I like the fact they are building a young team if they can keep them all around and get them to gel together with the right coaching staff i think this team can be a monster in a few years but the key is development and we all know only MN team good at that is the Twins so muh probably wont happen but we can all hope!!!.......and on a off note not a single one of those players Checkers listeed was picked past the 5th pick LOL should be a 60 win season lets go wolves!

Sixteen point guards and a bunch of mediocre underproducers...I don't think that's the definition of stacked. Cole and Flynn have been traded. Beasley has horribly flopped to this point. Darko is Darko and Anthony Randolph has never been impressive. Ricky Rubio and his 3.7 points per game in the inferior Euro League? Good luck with that...I'd like to see the T-Wolves do well, but it's highly unlikely I think.

    Michael Beasley

    2010-11 Statistics
    PPG 19.2
    RPG 5.60
    APG 2.2

I don't remember seeing those numbers in Miami, So i wouldn't exactly say he Flopped now that he has a bigger role!!
