I'd just like to bring this back up :) lol

He was what 19 when is was drafted how many players come out and DOMINATE at that age its rare he will have a long career he might not be a #2 pick quality player but will be a nice scorers for most teams. The NBA drafts on potential and not everyone reaches those level that are predicted for them doesn't mean they are bad players.

    Exactly.

Gotta love the "experts" on this thread. The Wolves are starting to look good already, at least some parts of them. A lot of positive things happening with the team, but I will say Derrick Williams looks VERY BAD imo.

Don't worry, if/when they don't end up resigning Kevin Love, they'll be back to drafting PG's in the draft every year.

I am worried about them locking up Love, but I don't see why he'd give up a great opportunity especially when we have offered max money (we should just give him his one extra year like he wants). As for the second part of your comment, .

I don't know why they wouldn't want to give him a 5th year. He's clearly their best player and most marketable (for now atleast)

It's not my fault though David Kahn has an odd love for PG's

Actually Rubio is one of the most overrated players in the NBA still.

If he makes the all star game over Ty Lawson I'm going to freak.

I can tell you Rubio is nowhere near overrated, he is the reason that the team is playing like a team.

Have you watched the Wolves this year? Just wondering, because I don't think anyone who has paid attention to the team would say Rubio is overrated. He is exceeding the expectations most Wolves fans had for him.

I understand he's a very exciting player, but he has always been very overrated. I really don't think he can improve much from were he is now. There is a lot of hype around him for a player only averaging 10 and 8. I think there are a lot of young guards that have a lot more talent, but thats just my opinion.

I have to agree with you, for once...he's playing better than I thought he would without a doubt. But people are acting like he's going out there and putting up numbers like he's Chris Paul or Derrick Rose and he's simply not. He's playing well, but is overrated for as much hype as he's getting. In a way, similar to Tim Tebow.
