I was really giving consideration to doing the Programme of Excellence. But chasing 40 cards all /10 with guys like Gretzky, Lemieux, Orr, and all the current/future stars seems incredibly expensive.

I think I'll stick to the Draft Boards.

That's a disappointing checklist as a Canucks fan.

No MacInnis to go after? Hmmm...don't know if I'm sad or relieved (so I'm pretty sure I'm confused hahaha)

Well, atleast there isn't Gilmour / MacInnis / McDonald / Mullen Quad Flames jersey as usually. That's make me very happy.

Some nice Hossa's to go after

C4-CHI Marian Hossa Cup Quads 10 Blackhawks
C3-SCUP Marian Hossa Cup Trios 25 Blackhawks
DHN-HK Marian Hossa Dual Honorable Numbers 81 Blackhawks
DS-HG Marian Hossa Dual NHL Shields 1 Blackhawks
SP2-HT Marian Hossa Dual Signature Patches 35 Blackhawks
HN-MH Marian Hossa Honorable Numbers 81 Blackhawks
SP-MH Marian Hossa Signature Patches 75 Blackhawks
SC-MH Marian Hossa Stanley Cup Signatures 50 Blackhawks
SC2-HN Marian Hossa Stanley Cup Signatures Duals 25 Blackhawks
C4-CHI Marian Hossa Cup Quads - Patch // 5 Blackhawks
C3-SCUP Marian Hossa Cup Trios - Patch // 10 Blackhawks

But no Karlsson. Also no Bobby Butler (but they do have Jim O'Brian and Jared Cowen)

    10/11 stats

    Player GP G A P +/- PIM
    Bobby Butler 36 10 11 21 -16 10
    Jim O'Brien 6 0 0 0 -3 2

Cowen played 1 game in 09/10. Great job UD. I asked them on facebook why there was no Butler and was told that he only did well near the end of the season so he didn't make it in time to be in The Cup......... or have a YG I guess

Well no Hamonic...guess saves me some money til Dominion comes out

Does bug me a little that Dustin Kohn who played 22 Games and had 4 assists is in the CUP over Hamonic who played in 62 Games and had 26 points and 103 PIM and is 3 years younger to boot.

Sounds to me like you guys can get on board with my idea to overhaul the RC system. :)

Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

    Price/Subban auto dual shield.

    Rich,

I think the time has come for you to make a splash in the shield market. This is YOUR card pal. Go get it, what a way to grab your first!

It's very pretty and all, but if I were going to have 1 must-have card from the high-end products this year, the Price/Gorges 1/1 from Dominion is it.

Also, the insane price the Carey/PK 1/1 will end at would never be justifiable for me. LOL

It looks like the current Edmonton Oilers get no love from the Cup. The only two oilers base cards are retired players. No current NHL'ers in the base set.

I'd love a shot at that Hall/Seguin Shield, although it's definitely one whose price I would not share with my wife.

A question about the PoE - It looks like there are 40 in the set, as compared to 15 in the dual which are numbered /5. I would like to do one of those two sets, but I'm trying to figure out which one is going to be more expensive. Any thoughts?

Beyond the rookies, who would you put in the base set that would be a more or equally desirable card than the legends? It's not like the RC's aren't going to be dominated by four of the most popular RC's of the season. :)
