Panini redemption rant!!

So previously, I said I'd had zero problems with my redemption replacements...but here's something I wasn't aware of:

The "Panini will send me a comparable card in its place" that is on the back of your redemption cards is BECKETT VALUE!

So I replaced a Corey Perry auto /50 from Crown Royale and got....a Kyle Clifford LS RC /499. I called them up, told them that it wasn't fair value and they said "We use Beckett for all of our values". Spoke to a supervisor and the most she could do was delete my request for a replacement and I get to keep waiting.

I then received the package for my other replacement, and they had already packaged my Clifford RC, so I guess I'll count that as a bonus.

So in case you're wondering, that is how a Hart winner auto out of 50 becomes a borderline-top 25 RC /499.

BEWARE if you ask for a replacement, because they will use Beckett to get you the lowest value they can.

I learned my lessons though...never buy a Panini redemption. If you get one in a box, try and sell it

I'm waiting since April, for a Stamkos Auto /10 and a Sedin Auto /25. Seven cards in total are pending. 8 months are soon over. I'm not able to call an american service hotline. This company is a joke. woulndt be surprised if I end up with nada.. burning my money would probably have been funnier than this ridiculous procedure

I just got notice earlier this week from Panini that my D. Sedin 10-11 Certified Mirror Gold Au x/25 is on its way, so if that's the Sedin x/25 you're waiting on, hopefully yours gets shipped soon too.

Of course I'm also waiting on the Emerald D. Sedin x/5, no idea how long that one's going to take.

Hey, at least we can discuss our issues with Panini on the Panini Discussion Board, right? right?...oh wait, they ordered for it to be taken down.

Well, ummmm, at least we know our good hard earned money is going towards those cheap Panini Affliction t-shirts that you always see Terry wearing in the video...and ummm business trips to Italy...because, well, you know stuff like that is far more important than paying for the hourly salary of another customer service rep to keep their internet redemption database current.

I understand that you have a grudge with Panini regarding your redemption situation. That's totally up to you how you choose to feel about the company, their customer service, and the redemption process. But please do not assume that the decision made by the SCF staff to remove the Panini Discussion Forum was forced in any way, or ordered, by Panini to be removed. Thank you.

Ah, I guess I was lucky, I received both the Daniel and Henrik Fabric of the Game x/25's from Panini already... in fact they screwed up and sent me two of the Henrik (they were supposed to send me one Fabric of the Game, and one Mirror Gold signatures, each x/25). I sent them back the extra Henrik cause I need the Mirror Gold, they confirmed they received my returned card recently so if that's the one you're waiting on, hopefully it makes it your way soon (apparently I have a goodwill set of packs of cards on the way to make up for it). Unfortunately Panini accepted my return, but never actually fixed my redemption request, so it still shows the Henrik Mirror Gold as having been sent to me when it never was, so I get to spend more time on the phone explaining this to them... again.
