I pulled an $80 McCovey auto redemption in 2001 and Topps sent me 2 $10 crap autos instead. Im still pissed about it.

*edit* I noticed this too late to do anything but you might have time. If you read the back of a pack or maybe it was the redemption card, it says that if they cannot supply the card they will send something of EQUAL value. I would try and call them on this.

I called them last Friday, talked to a very stupid young lady who I could barely understand. Asked what I could exchange it for, said mail it to us and well give you something else. I was like.... what? Then they hung up. Dont like upperdeck much anymore.

    I've had it both ways:
In 1998 I pulled a redemption for one of the SPx Anfernee Hardaway Autographed cards. It was 300-400 at the time. After waiting 7 months, I called them and they told me I would get a replacement immediately. They sent me the cheapest jersey card they had, which was 80.00 at the time. I was so angry...but the tables turned later...

In 2000, I pulled a redemption for a Jordan Auto Floor card /10. I was thrilled. I sent it Certified mail and saw it got there in about 4 days. I waited the expected 4-5 months. I called and called, and finally got ahold of someone. They told me the that the MJ was sent. I was excited. After 8 months and no MJ, I was PO'd and called UD. They couldnt prove they sent anything to me and they offered to make it up to me. They asked me to get a certified appraisal of what the MJ would be worth. I contacted a sports authenticator in Pittsburgh and talked to him. he valued the card at 4,000.00. I faxed this to UD and they called me in a next few days. They offered me 4,000.00 in wax from the UD Store in replacement. WOW! I went nuts. Case of SP Authentic, Case of SPx, and I just went to town. Only stipulation was that it had to be BKB product. I got about 3900 total and I was done. Opended the wax, got some good pulls and sold them, making well over 4000.00 (pulled 11 Steve Francis SP Auth RC's which were 500.00 at the time).

In February of this year, my Father calls me at my home and tells me I have a package from Upper Deck at the house. I thought it might have been one of the scratch off things I redeemed online. I left it there for about 2 weeks and then went to visit and my dad threw it over to me. I opened it up and IT WAS THE JORDAN AUTO/FLOOR!!!!

My jaw just dropped. The postmark was October of 2000. It had cancellation stamps, torn paper, relabeled packaging...the works. It was floating in the mail for years and somehow was redirected. There was a postmark from the Netherlands, from the Philippines, California and then finally home where I was in Ohio.

I am WAY ahead of the game with UD, so if I dont get a 50 or 60.00 redemption in the mail, I chald it up to payback.

Wow, that is absolutely amazing. Could I get a scan of the Jordan if you still have it?

I dealt the card shortly after I got it. I might still have the scan though. I'll hace to check.

It was nice that I got all the Francis Rookies that I sold, but I really wanted that Jordan...
