he was too close to stop IMO. and ik Tootoo is a small guy but he can hit, if his intention was to hit him then it sure as hell wouldn't have looked like that, Miller would have gotten leveled again. look at the angle starting at 2:29, his arms go up when he's in the air, he doesn't lower his shoulder to hit him. as a matter of fact, his shoulder starts low when he's got the puck and then when he loses it it's not low anymore.

He's a weasel, so he wasn't going to make it obvious by just plowing him. He still jumped into him when it was totally unnecessary to do so. He just raises his arms after he makes contact to act like he was trying to avoid him..

That he's a weasel? Just watch him play. He plays like Kaleta...who is also a weasel. He's been suspended before, he plays the game with the sole purpose to get under players' skin. Player reputation plays huge into this whole thing. It's been said 100 times, but Datsyuk, or whomever else in that vain would not have done it.

he had no where to go though, it was either jump to avoid him or at least cushion the blow or just flat out level him. it's a fast game, he can't just stop on a dime. and it certainly doesn't look like a flying shoulder block to Miller, more like an attempt to get out of the way.
