People think Diaz won for one simple reason.
At no point in the 25 minutes did you think Diaz was going to be KO TKO Subbed etc..
Everyone saw that fight in there own way because it was close.
If Diaz got the win we could say the same thing about Condit.
I would rather watch 2 Diaz fight then 2 Condit all day long.
Condit played the points game.... yawnnn
Great win but not a fighter I want to see move up in the rankings.
I'm for seeing more Diaz and less Condit if he's going to fight that way.
Smart does not glue people to the screen.....

he fought smart because he had to. most of his previous wins are by submission and ko/tko. Diaz is very dangerous so condit had a good game plan but condit is far from boring.

Ugly is a huge Diaz fan so take what he says with a grain of salt. I will say he is reacting much better then the other Diaz fans.
The fight was a clear win for Condit and really there is no reason for Carlos to take a rematch with Diaz. He won and should move on to different fights.
One interesting thing to come out of the fightis that Nate might be the bertter fighter out of the two. In the Cowboy fight Nate showed the ability to throw open cage combos and keep the other fighter off balance while Nick is unable to get anything going until he gets the guy shelled on the cage. Nick also showed his lack of foot work. Nate does a great job of cutting off the cage and landing clean on the other fighter. I think that Nate may just be the better fighter in the family.

That's because Cerrone wasn't afraid to sit in the phone booth with Diaz. How much circling away and loose leg kicks did Cerrone throw? Cerrone did a great job of landing effective leg kicks and tripping Nate. I thought Condit was going to use that as his strategy to be honest. Cerrone could have won the fight, had he went to the ground and landed some GnP.

I was there live for this and thought Condit won. Just because you walk forward and don't land doesn't mean you won. Condit landed way more strikes and power strikes. 68 kicks for Condit landed to Nates 6. He also landed more punches.

But Diaz landed more head shots and body shots? How did Condit land more punches?
total strikes 151-68= 83 punches landed by Condit.
total strikes 105-6=99 punches landed by diaz.
It doesn't matter to me anymore I was upset with the Dec, but this is MMA and it was a close fight regardless.
Let's start talking about Diaz failing the drug policy next! LOL

diaz had condit backing up the whole time , i thought he controlled the cage better , but he did land more strikes. it was a close fight either way , i would have like to seen a convincing win from either party not a big fan of diaz , but the boy can scrap which is what we want to see. Diaz vs GSP is a better match up than condit. and One i think diaz could win

To make the whole Condit/Diaz/GSP conversation more interesting, GSP said to KenFlo that he would relinquish his belt just so that he could fight Diaz. KenFlo brought it up on UFC Tonight.

I mean you say yawn to the points game isn't that what I champ right now does as well? I mean look at GSP in his last 6 fights he has only finished 1 of them and that was because of a corner stoppage. If you think that smart doesn't keep people watching then why do people still watch GSP fight?
