Yeah, i hardly call it running if your circling off the cage or pushing out of a clinch to avoid being hit. It's called smart fighting and a gameplan. No way he wins standing toe to toe with Nick. Like i said maybe if Diaz was doing more stalking instead uf stepping back and taunting throwing your hands in the air he might've won.

Diaz lost that fight, simple. This fight shows that Nick is unable to adapt when his gameplan does not work. Nick throws great combos, but only when he has fighters pinned. In the open cage he walks guys down and throws one shot combos in order to try and pin them, and as you seen last night when that does not work he loses. Nick (and his fans) think that every fighter shouldstand right in front of him and get stuck on the cage so he can pepper them.
Unless Nick learns to adapt when his regular game plan fails he will always lose to a guy who decides to fight smart. Diaz rightfully lost that fight, and as for Octagon control it is the #3 or 4 on the list of how the fight is scored. Diaz got out struck and Carlos was on another level as far as footwork goes.

Diaz was too dumb to change up his game plan when it was clear it wasn't working, maybe he's been smoking to much pot?

condit won this fair n square . diaz is a big baby and he never gets a decision ,then
why doesnt diaz just try to finish the fight and not let the judges decide simple as that .

Condit won this fight because he had a good game plan and Diaz couldn't figure out how to adjust to it. Jackson had Condit come into the fight to stick and move. If Diaz tried to get close, Condit wanted to push away and move. Perfect game plan.
Diaz needed to cut off Condit's angles. He came straight forward the whole fight. Besides that takedown and a few kicks and elbows, all he threw were punches. He did nothing.
Aggression is all Diaz had in that fight. He'll only ever be a people's champ. Everyone knows how to beat Diaz now.
