i officially now question the knowledge of some of my fellow traders when it comes to mma if they thought diaz won. and i wanted diaz to win! he didnt do enough. there is no argument and i was shocked to even see this thread started!

Better start questioning some of the fighters about their knowledge as well then...



I'm going to rewatch it later today without the sounds of the bar and friends in the background, but to say there is no argument for Diaz winning is just wrong.

i agree,condit fought smart and never let himself get beat up against the cage..

i dont mean to start an arguement here but i had it 49-46 condit. round 1 could have gone either way and round 5 was diaz. condit landed way more strikes and combos. diaz did cut of the cage and push forward but kept eating kicks. this is just my opinion though

Theres a definate arguement for Diaz winning....no doubt about it.

Many consider leg kicks useless (I'm not one of them) so if you dismiss those, Diaz wins if you base it on stats.

I strongly encourage people to visit fightmetric.com if they're a numbers guy like me.

The stats system isn't perfect but its some cool raw data to help you reinforce or discourage personal opinions.

I don't think Hard leg kicks are useless, but condit was thorwing weak ones solely for points. The difference? Shogun vs. machida 1 those were leg kicks, Machida could hardly move at the end of the fight from those brutal leg kicks.

Doesn't Matter though GSP get's another easy win. Condit can't circle away and avoid when he's on his back.

u dont need numbers u just need to know mma. im a DIAZ FAN and he clearly lost. he won the last round and thats it.

diaz proved 1 thing in lastnights fight he is a sore loser and i can say he lost me as a fan with what hye done after the fight i wanted him to win but facts are he got his ™™™ beat 3 our of 5 rounds for sure and maybe 4 out of 5

With the way that MMA judging is right now Carlos Condit won that fight. I'm happy for him. Great counter punching, but Nick Diaz beat Carlos tonight. You can't back a guy up for 25 minutes and lose.-Tim Kennedy.
