Not trying to stomp on your parade, I deployed to Iraq 3 times during my tenure in the United States Army. I ended up losing my career to Emphyzema, and Interstial Lung Disease for my Service in Iraq. Only prize I got was a Medical Retirement, and have a nice life. At the end when I die, there wont be Flags flying for me or anyone caring if I died or not. What she did was very stupid and she got what she wanted.
Thank you, for your service, and i hope life is better for you.

She should be honoured like this because there is a group of people that want to honour her. It has all to do with her FAME, not what made her famous. That is just the way the world works.
If I am not mistaken, most policemen and firemen get honoured by those that serve with them, just as most veterans do. More people happen to know her so she gets honoured in the way seen. FWIW, I think the flag lowering was a bit much.
I don't agree with it, and I don't agree with someone (not saying you did or are doing this) telling me I should act a certian way about it, but I'm not going to tell someone how they should act either.
I've said it in the P&R forum that I don't have tolerance for those who do drugs, so i'd be a hypocrite to change that stance.
Trolling ? Who are you I use this site to trade and sometimes get in a convo , but some of these comments are just heartless and sad .. people make mistakes but some people act like this is a perfect world , but to speak on someone who is no longer here in that manner is truly rude and unacceptable especially for someone who hasn't hurt anyone
I spoke about Whitney Houston in the same matter as I do right now. Sorry, i'm not going to act like I cared that she died, I didn't know her, and i'm not going to act like I did.
