Jarrett Lee - He was unfairly scrutinized for poor play after being thrust into the SEC grinder as an unprepared Freshman at LSU, and was continually dumped upon for the next two years as a back up. His glowing character was shown bright with an 8-0 record his senior year as a starter; then he refused to questions his coach as he was sent back to the bench in favor of Jordan Jefferson.

Here's hoping he catches on in San Diego behind Philip Rivers!!

My favorite player is Tim Brown. I have been a raider fan forever and always loved to watch him catch the ball. Doug Martin and Kellen Moore for college. Kellen is just a great down to earth guy who can make the football go wherever he wants, Doug Martin is just awesome and reminds me of Barry Sanders.

My favorite college player was: Ron Dayne!
We basically went through college together, he at UW-Madison, me at UW-LaCrosse.
I got a chance to meet him and get a photo with him a couple years ago at a local college woodbat league game. He was a beast to get down, I remember when the Badgers were playing UCLA in '99 Rose Bowl ('98 season) and CBS idiot Craig James called WI the worst Rose Bowl team ever! 246 yards and a Rose Bowl win later, eat crow mr. james.

My favorite NFL player when I was little was Eric Dickerson, so smooth with sprinter speed. Growing up in WI in the 80's, not much was to like about the Packers.

But now I have to say Greg Jennings and Aaron Rodgers at the moment.

I am a fan of Sean Taylor. RIP. The man was a phenom on the football field. One of the best secondary players to step foot on the field. He could cover like a corner and would hit you like a linebacker. The circumstances surrounding his death were tragic, as he was finally getting his life together. I wish he was still roaming the secondary up in DC. Him and Landry would have been a nightmare together.

RIP Sean Taylor.

My son and my favorite player right now is Jacquizz Rodgers.
The reason we like him is we met him when he was walking out of the bookstore at Oregon State. He took the time to sign a jersey for my son and throw the football around with him. It made my sons day and Jacquizz seems to be a very down to earth person.

My favorite player of all-time is Jack Lambert.
Lambert epitomizes what the black & gold defense is all about and was a key player in the Steelers evolving from a team that was perenially less than mediocre into one of the most consistently successful franchises in the NFL since the early 70's.

Mine would have to be Jr. Seau (R.I.P.) Followed him from U.S.C. to my favorite team SDC!!! He was a passionate player on the field and a kind soul off the field.

My favorite football player was Brett Favre. Nobody enjoyed the game as much as him. There was never a dull moment when he was on the field from his questionable picks to his miracle throws that kept me glued to the tv as the legend played football the way it should be played...as a game.
