Yeah it makes me sick and angry! Really poor service on the part of UD replacing a damaged card with another card in a PWE that ends up getting damaged! Joke, disgrace, shame, etc all describe what occurred. I'd complain to the BBB about this and give them a poor rating. That is not customer service as I have worked in the service industry and when a customer complains you do everything possible to make them happy. Go above and beyond to make things right. Panini and UD go below any reasonable expectations.

I agree to disagree about Panini. They've came through on multiple occasions for myself. The first time, I asked them to swap out cards that I got pack damaged for other cards in that set. As a result they just finished the set for me which was about 15 rookies too. A second time was recently, I put one of those requests on the bottom for a possible replacement being Islanders cards. They sent me all of the cards I had originally sent in and are sending a Tavares insert /50 for a reason that i'll never know. UD on the other-hand has shafted me royally and refuses to flex for any replacements.

My Artifacts rookie redemptions came in a toploader with no sleeves. Panini at least gets that right. I've never had an issue with their redemption shipping.

Like miscs, I'll agree to disagree about Panini. They are very helpful, polite, and respectful and do tend to go above and beyond to make things right. UD I've had nothing but grief with in redemption process. Panini will keep me 100% up to date with anything I need to know about redemptions, or even cards being made. Upper Deck on the other hand doesn't.

I agree with Panini being the better company here. Most of the redemptions I've had came to me in a bubble mailer and in a one-touch. That's difficult to beat. I also find them to be awfully generous. I returned a 10-11 Limited Phenoms of Justin Mercier because it was damaged. They couldn't return the same card back (which wasn't a problem seeing as it was a double), so instead they sent me a Subban Contenders AU RC!
I am very happy with the way they've been handling redemptions. Sometimes I wish they'd get things done faster, but at least they do it properly.

My issue with Panini is that they said they would send me some packs for my long wait. I asked and the CS rep said yes and then I never got anything. Also they didn't ship my 2010-11 Certified redemptions for over 18 months. Even when they became live they still did not ship some of them out. Also they only go by BV for replacements so that sucks because cards can book for $40 and sell for $30 while another card books for $40 and sells for $10 or less. The replacement cards I did get were good but I'd prefer to get PC cards as replacements.

I really cannot believe the people that come on here and defend either of these 2 companies.
Really? In my 30 plus years of sales, If I acted towards my customers the way UD and Panini have, I'd have lost my job in week one.
They don't give a fiddler's-fart about your satisfaction, they are completely gash.

So if Lafleur ever gets around to signing my SPA immortal ink, do I really have to worry about the card being sent out without a penny sleeve? An 8 year old would know better, how does the biggest card company in the world get away with that.

Yes, you do. Upper Deck has been sending out most cards without soft sleeves for well over 15 years now.
