If you card the card safe and sound I don't thnk it would be reasonable to give anything other than a positive feedback. By eBay terms, they did what was required of them, that being get you the item in the described condition. I don't think, and correct me if I'm wrong, that eBay has expected shipping practices for cards like we do on the forums. That being said, I agree that was mostly luck that nothing happened to the card and maybe a simple message to the seller with a few helpful shipping suggestions would be warranted.

Different Swatches. This happened in two listings yesterday.... but as an example:
Jersey Card /120 White Swatch
Same card, Blue Swatch
Everything about the listing would be the same, other than the description, where I specifiy which card in the scan (I typically scan 6-9 cards at once) would be.
These are not duplicates. If it was a serial numbered card and 99/120 and 100/120 went into the title, this wouldn't get flagged (I'll bet). If there is some rule against this, when I've clearly got two (near) identical items for sale, that I can't list them sepratly... please correct me, but I don't think there is. This is just eBay with some generic duplicate listing checker flagging my items and ending the listing. Then, the fact that you can't actually email anyone (they want you to call them) and question it, urgh.

Absolutely NOT, 100% positive. I never ship with decoys, card in penny sleeve and toploader and bubble mailer. If anything a positive +1 for the extra safety with a decoy.

If I were you, in the auction title I would just put "white" for one and "blue" for the other. It certainly is just a generic duplicate checker (it has caught me as well when I've listed low-end stuff). I can't say I've ever been too worried that two people would hit the BIN on the same night and both want the same copy though. If that's a legitimate concern you have, I would think adding in the colour of the jersey in the title wouldn't be too much of a hassle. In the grand scheme of things, it would certainly take less time than e-mailing them. I certainly understand the frustration.

No way! Positive feedback for sure. No damage, no neutral (or negative, I guess, but that doesn't sound nearly as catchy)
I would maybe send a polite message though, educating the seller on the potential damage that can happen to a card when shipped as such. I've had a few times where the seller was new and I honestly think that it didn't even cross their minds. Most of the time they appreciate the input.

I'll admit, I'm not really all that concerned about (for real) becuase I'm talking about a couple of jersey cards that are 3 years old. If I were talking abouta couple of Nathan Mackinnon GU / RC though??? It might be an issue.
Also agree, adding 'White' or 'Blue' isn't a bid deal, and that's what I'm going to have to do in these circumstances going forward.
But that I need to do that is yet another minor annoyance with selling on eBay.... a list that keeps on growing.
For the record, if emailing them was an option (I can't find it anywhere) I'd much rather write a long letter and complain, than spend 30 second revising an auction :)
