    I know I personally forget all the time to add the tracking number on eBay.... That's because when I sell singles I'll do 100-200 in one shot all ending on the same day. Packaging is a nightmare and my receipt is a mile long lol by the end of it all I'm just happy to be done with the process. Is it me? Lol

    That's exactly what has me worried on this one. I know Can/US shipments can take time and 3 weeks isn't a ridiculous amount of time but the whole no tracking # when I paid for tracking and the seller not answering my message is starting to get me worried.

    But then again the seller has close to 5000 feedback with 100% and no Negs so I don't get it.

    If they didn't provide a tracking number or respond to you, then I would open a PayPal case at the end of this week. That might at least get their attention, and you can close the case when the card arrives.

    I need advice from the SCF world. Recently won an auction, a whopping $8.50. I thought it was a great price for a card I wanted. And then I get the invoice. $16.00 shipping! $3 for the shipping and $13 for global shipping program. If that card was sent from USA to me I would not have paid any duty or taxes. But because eBay need to take more of our money I had to pay $13.00 more. It didn't say this in the auction and in my past experience low value items aren't hit with the global shipping BS.
    So my question to all of you is this, do I suck it up and move on? Do I reflect my displeasure in a neutral feedback or do I leave positive as its not really the sellers fault.

    Just a quick note - there is no duty on cards. You essentially paid a dollar in HST and $15 for Ebay to process your card...they have created a pretty sweet new revenue stream.

    And now, to finish it off he's left me negative feedback (for the first item, which I sent the link for the next morning): "Seller is a scam1st link didnt work then sends one so you cant win"

    Now, to be fair, I did receive a neg earlier in the month - because someone thought they were getting a full box of cards. Didn't communicate with me AT ALL and just neg'd. Nothing I can do there I don't think but take it.

    I've reported him (gaetano.c) to eBay, but I'm sure what else I can really do here... funny thing is, he's a blocked bidder, basically doing feedback extortion. And even funnier, last night was my LAST NIGHT doing eBay box breaks as I don't really have time to do anymore (at least for a few months while I work on other projects). So in terms of break business it doesn't really affect me, just annoying to deal with people like this. (and there's a LOT of them).

    I can see the first negative happening, although even that guy should have been smart enough to realize that your listing didn't promise a box.

    As for Gaetano, his Paypal story stinks of a scammer all the way. He didn't like the results and he tried to blackmail you. Hopefully Ebay can remove that one. Box breaks are such a gamble when you don't know your participants.

    Just got off the phone with eBay, they're actually going to remove both the negatives in the next 24-48 hours. I didn't think I could get the first one removed, but they said the buyers feedback was for something different than the listing, so the feedback isn't valid.

    The second one they guaranteed me it'll be removed as well. Nice.... and I get to inform everyone else of a potential headcase. :)

    Well, I sure wasted my time contacting ebay about this ebay member: stephekucha_0 claiming she still hasn't received her Black Diamond Jack Eichel Jumbo Patch card. Clearly she wants her money back even though I did send out the card. Sent her an email stating that shipping from Canada to United States takes time and can take weeks before reaching the destination address and it may have gotten placed on hold at customs I don't know. So out of no where she proceeds to create another ebay account "stephekucha0" and won all of my entire high end auctions that was listed on ebay with no intentions to pay and just left me 3 positive feedbacks and this is what she typed "SELLER NEVER SHIPPED A JUMBO EICHEL CARD TO ME. EAT ME." Honestly I would have given her a refund about this Eichel case but after what she had done is unacceptable and retarded! Ebay was helpful and removed those feedbacks for me. Right now I am stuck with my 3 cards totalling $22,650 US and I have wait until the problem case is closed and my credits back before it can be relisted again.

    The cards that was thought to have been sold but it is not and will be re listed again:

    Opinions needed time:

    Bought a card on 1/7/16 from a seller in Calgary.

    I know shipping from Can to US can take a couple of weeks and this could still be considered as a little early to complain but I don't feel good about this one.

    The card was $44.98 USD and charged $16.95 for shipping (Canada Post Tracked Packet). For starters one thing that bugs me is being charged $17 for shipping and the seller never even provided me with a tracking # despite charging for tracked shipping. The estimated delivery time was 8 Business days and the estimated delivery date was last Wednesday Jan 20th. When I still didn't have it this week I sent a message on the 26th, here's the message I sent:

    Dear XXXXXXXXX (User name censored for protection),

    Hey! I was just wondering if you had a tracking # for this item, I know its coming from Canada and it usually takes longer but I just feel like it should have been here by now. PLMK.

    It's now been 2 days since I sent the message and the seller hasn't responded, I'd be happy just to get a tracking number at this point verifying it was actually mailed. Would I be wrong in opening a dispute at this point or should I wait a little bit longer and hope it comes or should I try contacting them again?

    I sent a second message today and actually got a response this time!

    The seller did respond and give me a tracking number but theres a catch! I bought and paid for the card on January 7th, tracking says it was accepted on January 22nd so it wasn't shipped until 15 days after I bought and paid for it. When I do get it I'm unsure of what kind of feedback to leave, the fact that it took 15 days to ship is a bit ridiculous and has me leading towards a Neutral but I don't know yet.

    Advise the seller of your concerns. Maybe something came up (i.e. a sick kid, job loss, etc.).

    Unless there is a valid excuse, I would certainly ask about being compensated. You paid $17 for shipping and this is horrible service. He/she dropped the ball and you have been very patient. In the past, I know of sellers who have reimbursed me my full shipping cost because of THEIR delays. I will buy from these guys all day long because they are accountable. I think it is up to you to hold this guy accountable as well. There is no place on eBay for sellers who take advantage of a buyer's goodwill.
