Just as your continuous comments are unnecessary..
How do you know Canada Post lost the card? Your making assumptions. If the Seller would have messaged me i wouldnt have left a negative feedback. You can think what you want but know that i dont hold any stock in your opinions at all, whats done is done so go to EBay & put up a petition to remove the feedback i left if it bothers you that badly..Last edited by jameslacarte; 03-30-2017 at 12:20 AM.

I dont know what happened to the card. Just like you dont know that the seller didnt mail it as you stated in your negative feedback. You made assumptions that logically arent correct. The card could still get to you, who knows. All that was said for sure, by more than one person is that you were the one in the wrong, not the seller.

I can certainly understand your frustrations of not receiving a card you purchased, but from what I've read from the previous page about the situation. Realistically, why would the seller accept your offer if they never intended to honor it? If you had won it for an auction, I can see the possibly of the seller being sour over the price and not sending, as I see that all the time. But in your specific case, you said it was a best offer, why would a seller see your 2$ offer, decide its not enough, accept and not send, risking their feedback in the process. Artist proof cards go for 2-7$ for star players, so its not like it was a 100$ card he didn't realize had a lot of value or etc.
Doesn't it seem more likely that the card was sent and lost in the mail? I do agree, the seller could have sent a message but realistically, what could they have said to appease you at this time? if they sent the card and you didn't get it, other than refunding you? packages being lost is very common, your 200 transactions is a very small sample size, there is a reason there are tracking options and insurance, if no packages ever got lost, no one would ever purchase those options. I get other peoples mail all the time ... I've had packages with tracking go missing in the system somehow and had to get refunded by Canada Post. I purchased a Carey Price Young Gun last year and the tracking said it was delivered but nothing arrived ..I was going to vomit, but I got extremely lucky as a few hours later, wherever my package was actually sent to, the receiver came to my house and dropped off my packages, saying they were mistakenly dropped off at his home. But if that didn't happen, I would have been ™™™™ out of luck and that with TRACKING but most importantly it shows that Canada Post is not perfect, as this wasn't a case of someone not sending what was promised.

Cards get lost sometimes, I've had a few go missing over the years. So for such a lower-end deal I presume they sent the card and it just got lost. It happens.
I think it was pretty fair that the seller gave you a refund no questions asked. Just my 2 cents on the matter.Jhonas Enroth Card Collector & Host of the Hidden Content

My responses have been civil and you are the one getting hostile.
You posted about a situation that happened, and we are trying to tell you that you are in the wrong.
As a community on here, we try to help each other out and give advice. You have many members here with very high Ebay ratings and it would be prudent to listen to them if you want an enjoyable Ebay experience.

I agree with the other members. I really sucks that you didn't get your card but the seller made the right thing, he refunded you. Maybe he didn't bother contacting you since it was a card with a small value. That doesn't deserve a negative feedback, specially on a 2$ card.

I agree with others... what else can the seller do if something gets lost in the mail. He refunded you. He could have coddled you a bit more to make you feel good, but in the end it's a $2 card.

I never asked for a refund, dont you guys get that? I only messaged to ask about the status of my card. They took it upon themselves to issue a refund which in turn made me think they had never sent the card. I wish i had never posted this thread, i wont make that mistake again.. Thats it, its over & done with now go about your own business. Thanks for your advice. I dont need to hear anymore about it...

It is a shame that is the stance you taking. All of the responses thus far have been quite civil with the goal of helping the hobby become a better place but as you have said you didn't come for advice and already made up your mind on the situation.
But let me ask you this before I give up. Lets reverse the situation, I just bought a 2$ card from you, after a month, I message you that I have yet to receive it and I would like a status update regarding my card. What are you going to do for me in that situation? How will you prove to me that you shipped it out?Last edited by R39; 03-30-2017 at 01:47 PM.

First off, i would respond to you, i didnt get that courteousy, & tell you the card is in the mail. I realize sometimes it takes a bit to get your mail but its actually been almost 5 weeks. All i did was ask about the status of my card, i did not ask for a refund. The fact that they gave a refund was they're own doing, not mine, i was just looking for something like "its in the mail, be patient", & i would have said ok. Yeah i may have over reacted to the situation but its not about the value of the card its about common courteousy, something more & more people nowadays lack. I keep every receipt every time i go to the post office. 167 positive feedback in 1 year will attest to that & thats just on this site.Every trade i make i ship out the next day or even that same day depending on what time it is. Not 1 package has been "lost in the mail" so i dont buy that either. Your entitled to think whatever you like just like im entitled not to give a crap. Maybe 23 trades in 1 year might make you think that items get lost in the mail but over 200 trades combined for me says i think not. I'm done talking to any of you guys. Dont worry, i will never be making any deals with any of you guys, i wouldnt want my stuff "lost in the mail" then i would have to listen to more whining about a negative feedback given.
