when you dig thru couch cusions, car seats, and coat pockets, or sneak teh pigy bank out the bedroom while your wife is sleeping, hoping to scrounge up enough change to buy the new beckett, one pack of cards, or (and perhaps the worst) a few .25 cards from the shop.
yes, I've done all of those things. I swear this stuff is like crack. i always find myself needing a "fix"!
are there any support groups out there for people like us? maybe CA (collector's annonymous)?

Looking at other people's personal collections makes you want to better yours even more than you would normally want to, which in most cases is already high enough.

When I realized I had no problem dropping $100 on a box of cards, but couldn't justify "wasting" $5 on a Valentine's card for my wife. :)

When you buy comic books for your kids, to "even up" the cards you bought.
Me explaining to the wife: "See?!? I didn't just go to the store for myself, I got something for the kids!!"

hahahaha thats a good one, Um when you spend a bunch on ebay and then you relize you dont have that much so you try and get money any way you can (and somtimes have Grandpa help you out a little bit ;))
