    This one probably sounds odd to some but....

    When you give up smoking so you have more money to buy cards.

    You start watching a players stats a little bit more closely just because you just pulled a sweet card of his.

    When you've built your 6th card shelf so you can put up on the wall the next installment of your PC.

    When the only thing on your birthday and Christmas list is sports cards.

    i converted my fiancee's clothes closet into a card storage closet and bought her a cheap external closet for her clothes... gotta keep your priorities straight

    Stopped smoking!!?!?! That's awesome man. Way to go. That's probably the only thing listed that proves collecting cards can be beneficial to your health. :)
