no it is not, I am conservative and only want the fraud removed and better/more advocacy for those that do need it.
i would rather the money be spent on those that need help and have no issue if more was spent if the advocacy was there and the fraud was less.
conservatives want job creation so people can work and be independent and not have to depend on the government.
welfare to work
not welfare forever

You are in the minority. Most conservatives from what I have heard would be very happy if welfare was complely eliminated.Drug and smoke free trading.

Most conservatives from what I have heard
the issue is where you are hearing it from, most of the time it is from a bias source.
the article you posted could have been written with some academic integrity and said the same thing, but it is just fool of hate and is no better than the idiot who said "n" rigged.

Almost 99% of the articles posted on here are biased towards one side or the other. Hell most of the stuff on the internet or on the tv news has an agenda.

There is only one real fundamental difference between Conservative and Liberal.
One demands and embraces change, the other sees no real reason for it.

In the end it's about Progressive vs. Traditional
The conservatives don't like change, don't like the way the country is going because it's not what they're used to.
They're not used to seeing gays getting married, minorities having more power, and religion on the decline.
They fear this change.

It's pretty simple.
Republicans want to cut all welfare.
Conservatives more often than not vote for those Republicans.
I'll leave the conclusion to you. Should be an interesting read.

Republicans want to cut all welfare.
no, republicans want to cut all non essential welfare, and put those back to work (or to work) that can work.
the issue is you can make more being on welfare than most minimum wage jobs, and for some it is unreasonable to work two jobs.
but in this economy, with this budget, and government spending, it cannot happen.
but I do agree, even though I call myself conservative, I do not agree with all they stand for.
