    Suicide

As everyone knows per the big 3 if you commit suicide you will never be forgiven and be dammed to hell for all of eternity. My questions are do you believe that? Is that just? What about people who are bullied over their sexual orientation to the point of suicide? Will they be dammed to hell forever? If the person who bullies them has a change of heart will he go to heaven? How is that just if he does? Just some random thoughts that I had. Feel free to chime in.

My personal opinion is that anyone who commits suicide is a coward. You are just being selfish, getting "out" of your issues but forgetting that you are leaving your family and friends with that pain.

About the bullies, if they have an honest change of heart, of course I believe they are going to heaven.

So you think it is just for someone to bully another person to suicide and hell but the bully gets to go to heaven?

No, of course I do not believe it and how anyone in their right mind could believe it is beyond me. The "requirements" for Heaven and Hell are so past the point of ridiculous, it's worthless trying to discuss it. As for being a coward or being selfish; all I can say is, walk a mile in their shoes before you judge them.

Don't have to, committing suicide IS one of the most selfish things you can do.

I've always been confused as to how it's selfish to kill yourself, but not selfish to insult that person by calling them "selfish" for committing suicide.

It's selfish for him to want out, but not selfish of me wanting him to stay.

If they're selfish, so are you. Everyone makes their own choices. If everyone needs to stay for you in order to not be "selfish" what are you? You'd rather they walked around miserable than just ended it as per their own wishes. Theirs is a selfish act, but yours is not? Either way someone is miserable for sake of the other person.

No, giving a suicidal person the "it's selfish" speech is in itself incredibly selfish. It just adds more pressure to an already volatile situation.

Think of it this way. Many suicide notes cite loneliness as the main cause. Why are these people lonely? Because everyone else is too wrapped up in their own lives to pay attention. Yet, the person who is miserable because of the selfishness of others is more selfish for leaving a bad situation.

Would it be better they just moved away without a word?

I would rather them move away and drop off the face of the planet, than knowing they killed themselves.

And yes, It's selfish to have them want to stay, but it is more selfish to be the one who wants out.

I have been trhough some very difficult situations and time. I have a wife and kids and it would be selfish of me to leave them behind to get rid of my problems.
