Stating facts. Boehner said the house passed that bill to fund vets. Its on Harry Reids desk.
Ignore the facts and then play them down. Truth is the truth.
If anyone using the vets as pawns its the Senate Dems.

I understand it. Senate votes and passes it now. Obama signs. Done deal. Exactly what they did with the military spending bill.

To say it another way, we can't make it less expensive for the old and sick unless we take the money from the young and healthy. Not really your classic definition of "insurance".

we can't make it less expensive for the old and sick unless we take the money from the young and healthy.
I hate taxes, but I have no issue with paying for a government, infrastructure, helping the elderly who need hep, helping the sick, disabled, and the poor. I also have no issue with paying for emergency services and the military, in fact it needs to be bigger, so more citizens are employed, but we need to get the military and every other form of government to get its wasteful spending and fraud under control.
the whole welfare system along with everything else that the government is in charge of needs to be revamped. the obvious wasteful spending and fraud is ludicrous.
my biggest issue with welfare is the mentality it has and is creating. people are finding it easier to not work and get benefits and get more money for their family by not working a minimum wage job. this is a huge issue, people should be encouraged to work any job. without work experience you will never land that job you think you deserve. kids getting out of high school or college and anyone on welfare should be required to work a job(if able), any job, and get benefits for doing so, such as healthcare, help with bills and food, and getting your monthly student loan forgave for every month you work full time.
we need to create more jobs and just concentrating on overhauling our current mess we could save money to create more jobs. more jobs, more taxes being paid.
but I have come to the conclusion that nearly everyone in the government is an idiot in one way or another. I use to say I was a republican and a conservative, but I certainly do not agree with the people in government representing themselves as either. I am also against a huge hunk of liberal thought and their side of government isn't much better if better at all.
