Inevitably. But we never know who exactly until the cards hit the market.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Is Rookie Anthology still planned for May 28th?

I don't think that there's any correlation between the exclusive, and proving a point with SP Authentic. Panini still has three more product releases before they are done. It will be with the 2014-15 products that UD has to establish that they're deserving of that top spot. They'll have the re-introduced and re-jigged MVP as the first point of contact for that purpose, and that's where we start pulling out the yardstick to measure them.

Are the delays typically because of trying to get Signatures from players? Perhaps UD rather wants to delay instead of using Redemption cards?

That is always the primary reason that products heavy on autographed content are delayed.

Perhaps that is true. I still think with the whole Double Rookie class hype that seems to have fallen short of impressive, they need to come out very strong to prove themselves. Having less than 5% redemptions in this product would do so, and I am guessing that is the reason for the delays.

It would be interesting to see how people would grade the entire promotion of the #DoubleRookieClass and their assessment of Panini & Upper Deck with the work they've done this year. Might have to branch that off into its own discussion topic...

The double rookie class has been incredible. There are so many fantastic young players with rookie cards this year. I think this could be one of the best years to collect hockey cards in a long time

Yes, the content has been nice, but the overall execution has been horrible. There has been no distinction between 12/13 rookies and 13/14 rookies which is terrible in my opinion. I thought we were going to get two separate and distinct years of cards with difference looks. Instead we got one whole mailed in look. I am disappointed with both companies execution in this respect.
