Is this a fair replacement? Please vote!

    Started with this thread:

    https://www.sportscardforum.com/threa...eck-and-Panini

These are the cards I should've received:

11/12 The Cup P.K. Subban Signature Patches #'d to 75
11/12 The Cup Dual Signature Patches Taylor Hall\Tyler Seguin #'d to 35

Easily $200 value on the secondary market.

    This is what I received:

    $60 value

    $40 value

It's a bit shy but not as bad as it seems. The 2 cards you swapped out are not $200 value on the secondary market anymore. $125-140 is probably a closer estimate.

I see about $125ish owned to you

I see you received about $100

Thats including the "Subban is hot and in the playoffs" factor, and "Eberle is cold and a forgotten player right now" factor

I wouldnt be the happiest, as I would rather have the 2 you were supposed to get .... but that how the cards fell

I usually don't care to defend my statements on card values but your both wrong. Canucksfan007 the Hall\Seguin card on completed listings has sold between $76 to $160.

The Subban, I found one auction style completed listing for $47, the auction ended at 11AM on a Friday, lol. I would easily get more then that as a BIN\BO.

If you have these two cards for sale at $125, I'll buy them from you everyday of the week at that price.

Where are you getting the $60 value on the Howe? Can't find anything on that card wherever I look.

4 Hall/Seguin are completed, the lowest being for $70, then 76, 102, and a 160. Average price $100....take out a high and low and closer to $85. As for the Subban.....how many people are going to pay for a card that isn't going to be made? Take the $43 and run. I'll stand by my original estimate and yes you were shorted a little but nothing worth trying to go through a big dispute for as it'll cost you more in shipping than what you'll get back.

Sorry i very rarely settle for mediocrity on sell values. Tons of people do, main problem with the hobby, i dont. Also with the amount of money i spend, i expect to be fairly compensated IN FULL.

with that being said, if its a fair trade then its a fair trade. I just know i would never voluntarily do this trade. Also who's to say what the patches would've looked like? Another variable that I haven't factored in but we all know the value nice patches add.

Ill be honest if that was me I would be pretty unhappy. Eberle was always will be less than Subban so you lost on that one. Then the Howe compared to the Hall/Seguin is just not even close. Also that they replaced it after telling you it will be shipped soon that's infuriating. I would be all over them. I can tell that you sure don't like the replacement and I would not either.

Do they have to give you more value than what your cards are worth? Does it have to be exact? No Should it be relatively close? Yes. IMO That's not close. Eberle for Subban? That's a fair replacement. The other one not so much

Short answer, I'd be disappointed if I were in your shoes.
