So is EVERY politician in the world that makes commitments for his/her country that extend into the future considered liars

yep, how can you make promises about things you will not be in charge of?

oh wait, you are a liberal, then that is easy to do.

You do know how these types of agreements work, don't you?

That's what I thought. Just another feeble attempt to attack Obama. I'm sure it works on the ignorant.

yep, answer your own questions, you are just too dang smart for me. that works well in the liberal groups, the rest just laugh.

Leaders enter into agreements ALL the time, ALL over the world, at ALL levels of government that extend beyond their time. That's how society works. Are you really telling me you have a problem with that? You think EVERY government should plan for their mandate only? That's not a "liberal" thing. That's a common sense way of running a country.

While you're at it. Why don't you rip into JFK for promising the USA would walk on the moon before the end of the decade. What a LIAR. Made a promise HE knew HE couldn't keep.

Only one's laughing are the one's looking at another weak attempt by you to take a shot at Obama. It doesn't get much sillier.

Just saw this. I found it pretty unpleasant. In a summit with China's President Xi Jinping he agreed to reduce the United State's emissions by 26-28% by the year 2025 while China is only expected to reduce their greenhouse emissions by 20% by the year 2030. To put this in perspective, the US currently accounts for 19% of the world's emissions while China accounts for 23%. So why are we reducing our output by a higher percentage at a faster rate than China?

    http://www.cnn.com/2014/11/12/world/...ent/index.html

I find it pretty impressive to even get China to agree to this. I have no issue with the U.S. trying to decrease emissions at a faster rate than China or any other country. I don't see why that is unpleasant.

    3%

Where are you getting this number from?

Not something that I had to dig deep for. It's everywhere if you choose not to ignore it.

I know, it's hard to be wrong. But this is why the term "Global Warming" went away. Remember? The oceans were supposed to rise, coastal cities were supposed to flood, multiple Class 5 Hurricanes slaming into the coast? I remember all the crap Al Gore fed us 10-12 years ago.

Yah, none of which has happened, and not forcasted too. Earth is getting colder.

I had one left winger on another site that claimed 250,000 people will die annually due to "Climate Change" by 2025.

I thought the term global warming went away because people took it way too literally. If it was 5 degrees in the midwest in the winter people would use that to say global warming didn;t exists because it wasn't hot all the time.

all presidents make legislation that go on far past their term. All politician do. It's not anything new so I don't understand why people are so baffled by this. In my opinion I'd rather have any politician look long term rather than just to the end of their term.

I am the opposite, I would rather fix what you can, and not make promises you are unable to keep. But, it is easier to make promises you will not be responsible to uphold, rather than fixing what you can. just because other idiots do it, does not mean you have to follow.

Habs, OMG I think Obama is the worst president, perhaps ever!!! I will say at least his personal morals are not as low as clinton, but his ability to do his job is worse.

But keep on loving clinton and obama, shows your character.

how about work on what is causing the downfall of your country, and I will give you a free hint, it is not climate-global warming-change, gay marriage, or legalizing weed. But again these are easy to tackle why take on the hard stuff?

also remember your friend of 25 years has good intentions, but it does not make someone right. you can be a great person and be wrong. you can be a great person and go along with the rest, because it seems to make sense.
the FACTS are the earth warms and cools and has since it has been, well, earth. the FACTS are, there is little data to go by, we have not been keeping track that long, and in the grand scheme of things, we have less data on earth temperatures than we do of football stats.

    http://berkeleyearth.org/summary-of-findings

I do not consider 95% uncertainty as fact.

Your hatred of Obama and Clinton show your true character.

Ever heard of the Clinton Global Initiative? You think all the good this man has done is cancelled out because he lets his other head do the thinking now and again.
You think Obama hasn't tried to fix all that is troubling America. How well would YOU do if the people you have to work with are hell bent on letting you accomplish nothing?

Let me guess, Boehner and O'Connell have done a great job since Obama came into office.

The friend I speak of IS a scientist. He has forgotten more than you or I will ever know. It is not his "good intentions" that make him right, it is his intelligence and expertise in the field.

Yes, the Earth has warmed and cooled over it's entire existence. No one disputes that. The FACT is, over its entire existence the Earth hasn't been subjected to the Industrialized Age. Things have changed more in the past 200 years than they have in the first 4 billion. That's a FACT.
