No, that hurts current Americans. The same Americans that spend billions trying to oppose any action being taken.

Trying to tell China what to do is like telling the bank that owns your mortgage what they should be doing. I hate that we are in this situation but China can do whatever they want right now.

Wow. You managed to find a site where they group the whole 3% of scientists that agree with your viewpoint. Impressive. Now try looking for the other POV. See what you find.

I am not saying we tell them what to do. We simply agree to match any reduction they are willing to set for themselves. Their motivation to reduce theirs becomes their joy at getting to dictate what ours will be. It is a simple process.

Actually it hurts the economic future of our country. Yours too. Reducing emissions at a rate that nobody actually thinks is doable results in forced reduction of the use of fossil fuels with no viable alternative sources. The net result will be higher prices. I have no issues with reducing emissions, but we have to do it with some intelligence.

Where are you getting this number from?
Not something that I had to dig deep for. It's everywhere if you choose not to ignore it.
I know, it's hard to be wrong. But this is why the term "Global Warming" went away. Remember? The oceans were supposed to rise, coastal cities were supposed to flood, multiple Class 5 Hurricanes slaming into the coast? I remember all the crap Al Gore fed us 10-12 years ago.
Yah, none of which has happened, and not forcasted too. Earth is getting colder.
I had one left winger on another site that claimed 250,000 people will die annually due to "Climate Change" by 2025.

You should know it's hard to be wrong. You're wrong quite often.
I don't care what Al Gore or any other left-wing alarmist told you. I listen to scientists, smart people that study it. When a man I've known for 25 years tells me it's real. I believe him. I trust him. I know his character. I know he's doesn't have an ulterior motive, a bias.

Shrew is right, Obama will be long gone and even if he wasn't he still "supposedly" would have to deal with Congress but we know how this prez feels about Congress.
