If you dont do your homework on a card before buying it, you shouldnt be spending the money. Sportscards are not the only thing in this world that can be faked for profits. Know before you buy ,and dont run away with yourself and have to have it cause its so cool, etc.... Buyer beware.
Purchase w/ haste and repent in liesure = no buyers remorse.

Quote "Stang81..your card is definately a genuine article. Before 04 there was a lot of stuff that contained patch pieces and said jersey. Plus it is a jersey with a patch stitched onto it. Most patch fakers just use patch only."

Stang - there is a good chance the card is a fake. i did some research and for the patch cards in 2003 leaf limited, the company did use the word prime for all patch swatches. i think the prime concept started in 2003 and this card which is a patch does use the word prime.

i hate to be the one to say it, but it does appear to be a fake. it doesn't mean that it is, but there is a 50/50 chance.

was it ever determined for a fact that it is illegal? if it is not then I have no problem at all with people doing it as long as they are CLEAR it is custom made in their description. If people will buy it then why not sell it? people need to take more personal responsibility and stop blaming everyone else when they buy something without reading the description. That's the problem with the 2000 era...everything is someone elses fault.

If it is illegal that is an entirely different matter of course...then I have a big problem with it.

Check this one out. I seem to find a fake or questionable patch every time I look on ebay.
