I find this scenario was common for most Bobrovsky collectors. I had a very small PC of his at the time, and I knew a lot of collectors hoarded his stuff when he was a rookie on the Flyers, including some Bob Super Collectors too.
Eventually traded off some of my Bob cards, but still kept a few of them, including this KHL gem and his SPA FWA:

I kept a select few as well, always wanted to pick up one of those KHL patches but never pulled the trigger (Do have a KHL base parallel /100 though).

Sounds like a great card! Always loved KHL and/or SHL european cards. Very unique cards for any collection.

For me, after my PC guy was traded, the collection continues. I collect the player not the team, but that is just me.

I've posted about this before, but I tried to collect players but as a middle school student to currently college student, money isn't necessarily my strong suit so keeping up with new releases was impossible. I usually collected my favorite current Flyer, since the Flyers were my favorite team. I eventually decided when people got traded I would just keep them and move onto the next guy but it eventually just became a Flyers PC. If the player is in Orange and Black it can go in the PC, but I'm not going to lie, I have my preferences to who I look to add.
