Topps ratios are rediculous. I busted about 20 boxes of Topps FB between 2000 and 2003 and not once did I pull an auto. I no longer buy Topps stuff along with Upper Deck. Playoff is pretty much all I`ll buy. Donruss is good too.

I gotta agree with you on that. I don't know if the other card companies offer better odds on getting autos but I never count on getting any autos since I buy only boxes of the Topps baseball base brand for my son & I. This year I bought each of us a hobby box of Topps baseball Series 1 and guess what? My son pulled an auto--Carlos Guillen. Then when we were at the National, I bought each of us a rack box of Topp baseball Series 2. And my son pulled an auto again--Bobby Livingston. Naturally, there were no autos in my boxes, lol. I'm very happy for my son that he went 2 for 2 pulling autos. And I'm not disappointed that I didn't get any autos because, like I said, I never count on getting any autos. The odds are just way too high.

did you buy a box and one pack had only 5? i should have counted cards when i was opening the boxes.

well if you want autos, don't buy topps base boxes. go for bowman or something with an auto per box, and pick up the singles on your own.
