my step-dad is actually a Major in the Sheriffs Dept. in a neighboring county so lmk what I can do. I really don't have a dog in this fight cause he didn't rip me off, but I do hate to see others get ripped doing something that is supposed to be FUN, so if I can do anything lmk. Mike

Okay... I just called mom. She received my letter, and spoke with him. He inidicated that he had "taken care of it." I told her otherwise, and made her aware of the other people that had been swindled on this web site. She indicated that she would talk to him again, and get him to take care of his business... I'm not holding my breath... but I told her I would be calling back if I didn't see my cards in a week. Mom was very apologetic, and is very angry with her son... obviously he is lying to her.
bmoy: I asked mom about your letter, and she said she hadn't received one from you...
I would strongly urge others to write a letter in the event you don't see your stuff in about a week....

Scotty, thanks for the update. I'm going to try and get a letter out too, I'll give it a couple of days to see what happens with you, since you got the ball rolling on your cards early. If you could continue to update us with anything you find out, I'd appreciate it.

My cards were in the mail today!! Hopefully, everyone else's are on the way... If not, follow up with this kid's mom...

I would think they are pretty good if you call moms... I just phoned her about me getting the cards... dad is involved now. I wouldn't count on the DC though.. She indicated that he wasn't honest about the others he tried to scam.
