Folks, all my scans are on my computer.

I got myself an account with flickr but I am wondering how I put scans on there. Is it the same as photobucket?

First off, congrats! I still can't believe PB just singlehandedly crushed themselves into nothing. Reading a lot of backlash from users today (not just on our forums, either. The whole blogging community is frustrated). But anyways ... :)

Yes, It's a little different. Click the upload button on the top right of the screen to start, then select all your scans you need to upload.

Next, click "create new album" if you want it these selected pictures to be organized and separated from your other stuff.

Then, hit "upload", which will put all of those selected photos into your new album.

What I did was download all my PC's into individual file folders on my computer, then individually upload each of them onto Flickr to create my separate Flickr albums for my PC's.

The scans are organized on my computer by filename. However, when I put the scans onto the site, they go on the page in a very unorganized fashion. I want them organized by file name.

How do I do that? I sent you a PM.

This has been my worst nightmare on this forum so far. Who still uses a scanner or photobucket? I agree, when I see a photobucket link in a trade discussion, I skip it entirely as it is not worth my time unless it is a very special card. I normally just put a link to an IG post when discussing cards.

Umm...I use a scanner. It's the only way I have to put scans onto my computer. I do not have any iPhone, camera, or other way to do that. I don't particularly like photos from anything other than scanners. Seems like people take the photos from an angle. Drives me bonkers.

Just deleted my entire photo bucket images and account. Have tried the SCF image hosting but I will have to figure out what scan setting to use as to not go over the maximum limit. Also tried the Amazon prime since I have it, but I will have to troubleshoot it to make it work. Just signed onto to Flickr but I wonder how long it will be before they require payment for 3rd party hosting. I still use my scanner as it works very well and I think it is much better than phone or other ways to represent the image I choose. Thanks to those who recommended new ways and gave instructions on how to navigate the new systems.

Best of luck moving onto something new. I'm sure you'll get the hang of whichever new image host you decide to go with.

Easily the prettiest 'test' post I've ever seen. Beauties.
