    Inscripted FWA ?

    Hi

I was looking through my FWA from 16-17 and noticed my Varna is numbered 25/999 and is not inscripted. I thought the first 50 of each player were inscripted . Then looking through ebay I see a Tyler Bertuzzi 425/999 and it is inscripted . I have a Bertuzzi 21/999 which is inscripted. So I wonder if the inscriptions are random . Any 50 of a player can be inscripted. Anyone know anything about that or have any thoughts.

    Cheers Mike

Bertuzzi signed all of his with an inscription. I also pulled a Vrana </50 that was not in scripted. So I'm guessing he didn't inscript any of his

I think last year in 15-16 SPA they stuck to the "first 50 inscribed" rule. This year though, I suppose they did "any 50 gets subscribed" sort of thing. It also depends on the player's knowledge before they signed too. Because I too have seen those inscriptions over/under to 50th print run. Unless there was a difference depending on what gets inscribed, since I've seen dates and random sayings on these FWA's from 15-16 // 16-17. Either way, there aren't too much inscriptions out there usually.

I think Beckett is confused like the rest of us :) I've seen 4 or 5 inscribed BGS cards that are missing the notation. Plus, the Jesse Puljujarvi doesn't look like an inscription but is listed as one. The one below for Laine is obviously inscribed but not listed as one. Not a huge deal but an inconsistency nonetheless.

Not all players inscribed their cards. If they did they would be the first 50 cards they signed 1-50.

I had a few different players not sign their cards including Tkachuk. UD is at the mercy of agents and players. I'm sure some players weren't told or just forgot.
