Man, I don't know what will happen if they play Michigan (my favorite team).
It's the team I've rooted for for 20 years vs. the school I went to for Grad School.
What a game!

What a game indeed. I even had my wife watching the final seconds and she doesn't watch any sports. When I was going to school there(Cook College, part of RU) they were so bad. This has been a long time coming. That place was crazy tonight. I actually left work early so I could avoid the traffic going in(I work 5 min from the stadium). I can't even imagine what the town of New Brunswick is going to look like tonight at all the bars.
Next up, West Virginia.

hooray! Great game. Glad to see Rutgers kept their head in the game even after they were down 25-7. Thanks to Rutgers Louisville will fall below Texas in the BCS rankings. :)

Great game. Sadly, even if Rutgers runs the table, they have 0% chance of playing for the National Title, so they need to enjoy this while they can. They will make a BCS game if they run the table, but no title shot.

which is why the BCS is stupid....the big east is still a BCS conference, so ANY team that goes undefeated in a BCS conference deserves atleast a look!! if people dont think they are a worthy conference, they shouldn't be included as a BCS conference....but they are!! if louisville was being considered, and rutgers beat louisville, why not?? im not ever gonna say anyone is the best, but lets face it....everyone one of those 1 loss teams had their chance, all any of them had to do was win 11 or 12 games and they didn't....if ohio st can (still to be decided) go undefeated playing a nice schedule, everyone else could of too....what else can any team from a BCS conference do but run the table?? we aren't talking about a team from the MEAC, we are talking about a team in what is recognized by the BCS as a major football conference!!!

Yeah the BCS is horrible because of teams like Rutgers who deserve a chance but have no chance. I dont think Rutgers is the best team or eve the second best team. But they are undefeated (as of right now). Look at the NCAA basketball final four, who thought George Mason would've made it that far? And they wouldnt have had it not been for the playoff bracket. Thats why football needs it.

exactly!! thats what makes the tourney so exciting, the fact that EVERYONE gets a fair shot....sure, teams with less of a resume have to beat lots of quality teams, but they have that opportunity....like you said, no one gave george mason a shot, no one gave kent state a shot, NO ONE gave an 11th (?) seed villanova any chance to beat the hoyas....but guess what, they played the game of their lives, one of the greatest team efforts in sports history and shocked the sports world...it happened then, and it could definatley happen in college football too!!
