im not even really saying Rutgers doesnt get in but i really think they wont because of who they are... sure it is easy to say we embrace the underdog but i would bet there was more interest this year in Texas/OSU than OSU/Rutgers... people will watch but there wont be nearly as much hype as two national powerhouses... the gambling is a valid point also but i just dont see the big east the same way as i guess people from the east coast see it... just where i live i guess... and living in basketball country doesnt help either

Here's some of that respect! #6 in the BCS!!
Plus, if they win out, they'll pass the ND/USC loser, and could even pass Florida if they lose!
Amazing, amazing season so far.

So if they run the table and go 11-0 I think it would be, they might have a shot at the title considering the teams ahead of them keep losing (Texas, Auburn, etc.)

Rutgers would be 12-0.
Florida still has to play the SEC Championship game (which, if it's Arkansas, coudl be bad for Rutgers, since Arkansas could make a nice jump). Besides that, Rutgers has to hope for Cal to beat USC this week, and then USC to beat Notre Dame. And then still have to contend with the OSU/Michigan loser. Lots of stuff needs to happen, but you never know. Florida was SO close to losing this week too.
