i agree with fact completely, lately it has gotten pretty bad.

It's just that it's the ONLY thing that anyone wants anymore, the hot guys. They don't have personal collections, which is what the hobby is all about. For example, look at Mr. Baseball's Jeremy Bonderman collection. It's not like he just decided to start collecting Ryan Howard once he became the real deal.

I don't have a player collection, nor do I collect anything specific. Should I be reprimanded as well? I'm not supporting it, I just think these guys deserve a break. It will catch up to them soon enough.

I use this hobby to try and make money. Hell, it costs so much to be a "super-collector" you have to do what you can to make money at it. No big deal, but people in it ONLY for money...yeah, that ain't right. Invest in a Roth IRA if you're trying to retire:).

I don`t do much trading at all, if any to be serious. Anyone who has these Pinner/Betts cards right now wouldn`t trade them anyway. They would be on eBay just like those who are looking for those here would do. Any smart collector watches this like the stock market. I know I do. Buy low, sell high. It`s the name of the game. If you can fleece these people who are looking for that hot card right now, then please do so. I would only trade a hot card for an established player(ie: Rice, Montana, Favre, Namath, etc..). If you can get one of those cards for an Artose Pinner card, then do it. Otherwise list the hot cards on eBay and take the cash for yourself.

Exactly. Don't scare these guys away, cause then we won't be able to take advantage of them.

This is a card site and anyone can ask for whatever they want. Why would we tell people they can't ask for someone that had a good game ? Come on, if these kinds of posts annoy you, don't read them. Who really cares what other people are looking for ? If this stuff bothers you, maybe you should just step back for a while, take a deep breath and regroup. I can't really understand why you would even make this thread. Relax, it's not that bad.
