Well, I'm new to this site (about 2 months here) and I've noticed that every week there are several people asking for the guy that had the best game. I use it to my advantage. I've traded for several Favre GU's almost doubling my collection in 2 months.

What your basically saying is that no one person should be allowed to ask for the hot player of the week. Only players who are established should be traded and asked for in threads. If a player comes into this league as a nobody then makes a name for himself for many years is no one allowed to ask for his cards since nobody collected him for there PC before he bacame a star? I'm sorry to say but what your asking is ludicrous and the factsome of you knock young collectors who wants to pick up cards of the weeks flavour of the week. Do You have any betts, pinner, romo, gore autos for trade? I'm sure you'll get plenty for them if you do. Until then, don't go expecting to see threads saying "WTTF: established players because i can't ask for pinner."

Let the Add water Instant or money fans do there thing. I will and still do collect Matt Schaub. I have a decent collection of him I like to think. The posts that bother you are just words not like they are hitting you with sticks and stones. Do what our parent said and ignore them. If you want to rant send me a pm and I will let you know I think these people are silly.

All have valid points,
I was posting this because I feel i am "high and mighty" and whatever was said.
Everyone is right , it does bother me, didnt see anything wrong with posting about it and i still dont~
I guess there are just certain variables that come w/ it that push me over the edge
For example:: I must get atleast 2-3 PMs/Instant messages a day from various members, (not naming names) who say, "hey man, what do u need for your Frank Gore this or Tomlinson that or Reggie Bush" I guess that in itself is expected because (like many of you) Im not blind to the fact these are the players everyone wants. but then it gets worse:
I say, I collect Barry Sanders/Lions/Fitzgerald/Sproles/Northcutt, and get this reply every time "I have a Barry Sanders 99 Topps Insert, how about i give ya that and 50 commons for Lions for the Gore" THIS KIND OF STUFF I JUST CANT HANDLE"
or they will say "I have a Daunte Culpepper GU and and a Fitz Bowman rookie, I could do those for the Tomlinson, like just idiotic stupid behavior that pushes me near the breaking point lol
i know there isnt anything mods can do about this nor did i really expect them too. Just ranting~

Can't really agree it's like E-Bay... every time you try and offer guys here deals on the hot cards, say at 75% off BV, they try and lowball even further- then you stick it on E-Bay and the same guys PAY 75%... go figure.

Rob, I have to agree with you completely. It is difficult to get good deals most of the time as everyone wants the big cards and isnt willing to give up equal (or close, for that matter) value. I've had several people here ask me to trade my stuff at sell price only to get thiers at book. Does that even make sense? Anyway, I've learned very quickly who to deal with and who not to deal with. If thier name appears in the thread I stay away. BTW, Thanx for the trade a couple weeks ago. Love that Favre.
